THIS HOUSE IS ON THE OCEAN SIDE!! NOT WEST OF THE HIGHWAY SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO RISK YOUR LIFE CROSSING THE BYPASS!! YOU MUST BE 23 YEARS OLD OR OLDER TO RENT THIS HOME. IT IS LOCATED IN A FAMILY AREA, THIS IS NOT A LOUD, PARTY ZONE. This is a true beach box bungalow with all the amenities. Our home is very private yet close to the ocean (100 yards), with private beach access, wonderful for family get-a-ways. It is a very easy walk to the beach with life guard on duty. We have a large back yard with a deck and an outdoor shower. You can watch the seagulls and pelicans fly over and just daydream all day. You can ride your bikes to the Wright Brothers Memorial and many local restaurants. We have High Speed Internet--so bring your lap top! Sheets, towels and start-up paper towels and TP are included. Our home has two bedrooms one with a queen bed and the other with a queen and twin, so sleeps a total of five.With new firm mattress. We also have a sitting room and TV watching room with multiple movie channels. The back bedroom walks out to a large deck. The kitchen is fully equipped with a separate dining area. Linens are provided. Pets are allowed with a $150 non-refundable service fee. This fee is for additional cleaning up after a pet visite our home. Smoking is only allowed outside the home. Our price quote is total and includes: Rent/Cleaning/Sheets and towels. Our home is located on the Outer banks between the highways on the OCEAN SIDE. You can walk to Target, Eight miles to the outlet malls, nearby to Jockeys Ridge, North Carolina Aquarium, fishing piers, restaurants, and Charter fishing. If you are interested in Charter Fishing please let us know. You can also walk to two great restaurants and Target for your shopping needs. In 2013 we have added a Keurig single serving coffee machine and an espresso, coffee maker. We do have a standard coffee maker as well. Check us out and reserve today. A wonderful place the to stay. Close to grocery stores and the beach. A very clean and well stocked house. Would like to stay here again.

We all loved our vacation at the beach. The house was very clean & comfortable. Not a far walk to the beach at all. It was greatly appreciated that we were able to bring our 6 dogs with us. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was clean and well put together. The property was also pet friendly and the owner allowed us to bring our 4 dogs for a small cost. The location to the beach and other activities was the best!

Location is great and a very short walk to the beach. We had 4 people and that was perfect for the size of the house. Furniture in living room wasn’t very comfortable but we were out a lot so didn’t use it much. Overall good place to stay and would stay again. Thank you!

Scotch Bonnet’s location was exactly what we were looking for. Super close walk to the beach, in a quiet neighborhood and a short drive to restaurants. House was super clean and Lisa thought of everything. Made for a nice relaxing beach vacation.

Perfect beach vacation!
This cottage just a block or so from the beach is the perfect location for a couple or small family looking to make the most of the Outer Banks. You really can't have a better location when it comes to beach proximity and restaurants/stores. Finding smaller homes in OBX can be difficult and this was perfect.

Our stay at the scotch bonnet was exactly what we needed. The house was a 3 minute walk to the beach, less than 10 minute bike ride to the adorable Ashley’s espresso bar and way drive to grocery store etc. We had no issues while there and were very comfortable throughout the week. The keyless entry was so handy!

Love this house
This is my second time here. Nice quite winter neighborhood. Short walk to the beach. I feel very comfortable and at home her. I am booked Dec1 thru Feb 28. If no one books for march I may even stay to the end of March.

We loved our week at the Scotch Bonnet. House was easy walking distance to the beach. Our family of four had plenty of room in the house. We had perfect weather and spent most of our time enjoying the beach and ocean. Can’t wait til next year!

Scotch Bonnet is in a great location and well stocked. The outside shower was a great benefit to avoid bringing sand into the house and having linens and towels supplied really saves on packing. The house was clean but we still disinfected surfaces and washed dishes before using them. We noted that corners still had sand/dirt in them and there was quite a lot of dust/dirt under beds and tables. It may be a good idea to get an exterminator in as there were some minor issues with bugs and one very large spider in the outdoor shower. I was a little concerned that comforters are not changed between guests as it was clear that we were to leave the comforter on the bed when leaving and remove sheets. With all that said, it is a great beach house and we hope to come back in the near future.

Love the scotch bonnet!
Stayed at this house for the second time and it’s just as we remember. Perfect house for a small family. Two bedrooms that are clean and a well maintained bathroom make it ideal for a 3 or 4 person household. The quick walk to the beach is lovely and puts you at a nice spot a little ways down from the pier. The outside shower is great to rinse off after a sandy beach day and the house is located right in the heart of a lot of great restaurants and shops. It’s also really nice the house has a kitchen stocked with the essentials for cooking so you don’t have to worry about bringing any! All in all, great stay.

Perfect beach house!
We had an awesome stay at Scotch Bonnet! It is easy walking distance to the beach and it's just a short drive from grocery stores and restaurants! The house is spacious and the beds and linens were all comfortable. The wifi was impressive as my wife and I were on a partial working vacation and we were able to access everything we needed for work as well as stream movies in the evenings before bed. It was great having the outdoor shower and clothes lines for cleaning up after a day at the beach before going inside. We will almost definitely stay here again in the future and would recommend this house to anyone looking to vacation at the OBX!

Had a lovely stay here for the week! Cute house that has everything you need and an easy walk to the beach. Love that it was dog friendly so we didn't have to leave our puppy behind! Highly recommend and would stay here again!

Fantastic Location, Wonderful House
The house was PERFECT for our four person family and our one dog, Bernard. I have been coming to OBX for 35 years and this was one of our favorite locations. Easy beach access, clean home, wonderful neighborhood. The house had many household items making cooking dinners easy. I always pack my own just in case but it wasn't needed here. The bedrooms were clean. The mattresses are firm, but in good condition. If you like "squishy" mattresses, I suggest bringing something to put on top. Other than that, no complaints from us! We will definitely book here again in the future. Thank you!
