Located on the edge of town next to a large ranch, the sunset and mountain views are beautiful. This Mid-Century ranch style home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and great amenities. This unit comes with red oak floors, a modern kitchen, and restored vintage tiled baths. This is a perfect place for a getaway! The space is comfortably appointed with: - 1 King size bed - 1 Queen size bed - 1 Double bed - Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, Amazon Prime Video, and more! each TV has either Roku or Apple TV so you can log in to your own streaming services. The house features: - High-speed WiFi - Fully controllable heating and air conditioning - Hardwood floors - Laundry room Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with Microwave, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans, and all the amenities needed to enjoy a good meal! Our priority is to offer you a clean and safe environment so our dedicated housekeeping team decided to use products recommended by the World Health Organization to ensure you have a smooth and pleasant stay with us. We clean all of our rooms and spaces following a professional protocol specific to the hospitality industry. Taking every precaution and detail to the extreme to have the house in perfect condition. Our nightly rates depend on the number of guests. The base rate generally includes four guests. Make sure you’ve listed the accurate number of guests at the time of booking. A reduction in the number of guests won't be allowed unless the reservation is within the cancellation time period window. After that, removing guests and refunds for this same reason won't be eligible. Adding more guests will be allowed at all times. The house is so much more that you can see from outside. Beautiful interior with classy touches and so many amenities. Clean & comfy. We would come back again.

The house was fabulously clean with lovely decor and supplies galore! My family and I opted to prepare meals there, as the updated kitchen was fully stocked with everything one could image to prep and serve. The host was on spot with communication, but there were no problems, at all! The view is spectacular all the way around. It’s simply very serene and relaxing. We will definitely be back when the opportunity arises.

We were in town from the Dallas areas for our friends wedding. We loved the house and wish we had more down time to hang out in the den and/or patio. I would recommend this house. It was perfect for couples or 2-3 small families. Although, I'm so glad we all decided to leave the kiddos at home last min. We didn't cook but the kitchen looked well stocked and there were plenty of towels. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

We loved this home! Access was easy and the home was very clean. The kitchen had everything one would need and stocked better than most VRBOs we’ve stayed at. The home feels bigger than stated in the description The bathrooms were clean and towels felt plush. The beds and pillows were very confortable.

We were delighted to find a folder with info in the kitchen readily available with pointers about staying at Casa Capote. We were so private and had a lovely experience. We found everything in order and what we needed was readily available. We enjoyed the outside patio each evening after exploring Marfa. We all had a fabulous stay here at Robert’s beautiful home. The home was much better than we could have expected even after seeing the pictures. Robert kept in close contact to make sure se had all we needed and the house was very well equipped. I have rented quite few places over the years but this was one of our favorites!

We had the terrific opportunity to stay at Robert Spiegel’s home. Let me tell you, the home will not disappoint! .The photos don’t do it justice. We were very pleasantly surprised how nicely decorated and well appointed everything was. Good quality comfortable furniture with TONS of space.
The host (Robert) was very responsive and followed up promptly with any question we had. The home is loaded with amenities. Extremely well appointed kitchen. I can honestly say there was not one thing that could have been better.
I don’t get the opportunity to say that often … Thank you, Robert! If we ever come back to Marfa, we know who to call!

A beautiful property and location to take in a West Texas sunrise and sunset! The home is fully stocked and the beds are all very comfortable! This is a true measure from a family that rents a lot!
The home is beautiful and allows you to enjoy the Marfa experience! Get out, walk around, talk to people and experience west Texas State and National Parks. Do everything or do nothing, this property will not disappoint!
The owners are also quick to answer questions before our arrival and we had no issues while we stayed at the property.
Cheers to a holiday well spent in peace and serenity! We will be back…. Even the teenagers agreed!

The GetAway That Rules Them All
This was the get-away we needed after a year of being stuck at home - this was the ideal house for us as there was room to spread out, amazing views out of all windows, the natural light in the house is #housegoal (best way to put it!), and you're close enough to Porter's if you forgot to pack anything. We're foodies that cook a lot and typically bring a lot of kitchen stuff with us - but we didn't use any of the things we brought (knives, pots, pans). The kitchen exceeded our expectations. Beds were comfy, rooms and bathrooms well equipped. The only complaint we have is that we had to leave. About the house: it's up on a hill overlooking Marfa so you have a 360 degree view of the surrounding mountains. This whole area is fantastic for star watching and the house did not disappoint with the comfortable patio. We sat out and watched the stars multiple nights; my husband said it was the most he had seen of the constellation Orion - ever. Lovely time and we hope to return again soon.
