All new kitchen (appliances, granite counters, Pergo floor), newly furnished living room, 2 updated bathrooms, 2 new flat-panel TVs, wi-fi, new window blinds, new washer & dryer, 4 single beds, 2 double beds, 1 queen & 1 pull-out sofa bed, three-season porch, front & rear decks. Located 1 mile from beach and 1/4 mile from shops & restaurants. One block from beach trolley stop. A beach parking pass is included. Community pools, tennis, playgrounds & gym available for a fee. No Smoking. No pets. Keywords: House A popular Windjammer style home, 4 bedroom - 2 full baths with 2 BR and 1 bath on each side make this a convenient set-up for 2 families in the wonderful community of Bethany West. Great location, walking to Wawa, Italian restaurant, a great diner, coffee house, seafood restaurant and shopping. Bike or walk to Beach. It's on a quaint trolley line run by town of Bethany Beach. Also you will get a beachside parking permit to park in town with access to 2 Swimming Pools and 8 tennis courts in this enjoyable Bethany Beach community. Less than 1 mile to the sand. There is a Microwave, 2 Color TVs , and one DVD. charcoal grill. Free private high speed Wi-Fi available. Cul-de-sac location. A new boardwalk ties the driveway with both front entrances and also to the outside shower. Bare feet from beach to house :-). Brand new air-conditioning and heating system. New flooring, dishwasher, microwave, paint and remodeled kitchen in 2019, new large capacity hot water heater and bedroom carpet in 2020. Linens are not included and you will need to bring linens and towels for your use. There is also a good linen service company locally in Bethany if you prefer. The recreation fee for using the community amenities (pools and gym) is $20/person/week or $6/person/day or $160/person/season. This is charged by the community and can be changed without notice. This property is located in Town of Bethany Beach and charges a 7% rental tax. This house is non-smoking and no pets allowed. If any smoking or owner unapproved animals are discovered in the home during your rental period your security deposit will be forfeited and additional cleaning fees may be imposed. This house was great for our family! Four bedrooms, two baths and the outdoor shower was perfect coming in from the beach. You can walk right into town to the shops and playground. The closed in porch was perfect for meals. The owners were always in communication. Will definitely book again for next year!

We loved the pool it was not crowded and clean showers/bathrooms. The pool staff courteous and friendly. Nice quiet neighborhood short drive or bike ride to the beach. Lots of shopping near the boardwalk.

We had a wonderful time in this house in Bethany West. The neighborhood is tranquil, and the community pool and a small agglomeration of restaurants and shops are all a very easy walk. The septuagenarians in the family walked to the beach several times, but it was too far for the five-year-old in our party. We never had trouble finding parking at the beach with our resident's pass, though.
The house itself is well-suited to a family, or even two small families, with bedrooms in each of the four corners and a great room, dining area and small kitchen in the middle. Each pair of bedrooms has a bathroom. When we ate "at home", we usually used the screened porch that's off the back. There is lots of parking. Everything worked, and there are even three TVs, excellent 5G internet, and a smart speaker. (Alexa! Weather!)

This was one of the best family vacations we have had. The location was perfect; each morning I started out with a 1-mile run to the ocean, and a nice walk back to Wawa to get a cup of coffee. Endless hours on the beach - the parking permit helped us a ton! Great restaurants within walking distance (try the pizza at DiFebo's Market! and the dinner at their restaurant!). The owners were communicative and so nice. We were supposed to have others join us on our week stay, but they were exposed to Covid so it was just the 4 of us for the week. Ample space - we didn't even use 2 of the bedrooms. Next year we are returning with another family of 4 and will have plenty of space still. I miss it already!

Beach Week
The house was spacious which allowed us to spread out during our stay. The two full baths were appreciated. Everything you could possibly need for cooking was available. We found the walk to the beach to be doable. There was ample off-road parking for our three vehicles. This was a wonderful rental.

Very quiet, family oriented street. Great tree canopy overhead for hot afternoon relaxing. Lots of birds singing in the trees above and shrubbery was in bloom with flowers. Wooden sidewalk was great with the family to keep stuff outside that needs to stay there. Coffee shop 1/2 block away on the corner. Good interior floor layout plan for an multi-generational getaway. Outdoor shower had hot and cold water for showering off the sand & surf. Large parking away. We had Two mid sized cars and a large 4x4 truck parked easily in a row. Only 5 minute drive straight ahead to Bethany Boardwalk and beach or 10 minutes north or south to Delaware State Park Beaches on Rt 1. All the beaches were great & clean with lifeguards and bathhouses. People were all freindly in and around the town. Food was great on the Boardwalk and crab houses nearby. Lots of roadside Fresh produce stands everywhere. Hockers Grocery store was well stocked with all our needs and then some. Great grocery store for family needs. Trolley ride was fun for the grandchildren and adult children in the evening to the boadwalk for ice cream. Only a quarter each way. You must a a quarter-no change given on the trolley.

35th Annual Mother/Daughter Beach Trip
My mother and her 6 daughters have been taking an annual beach trip for 35 years. This was our first stay at Chris and Joanie's beach cottage. We had a wonderful week and absolutely loved their place! Spacious and very accommodating for all of us. Excellent location and convenient to restaurants, shops, beach, and pool. Very quiet and friendly neighborhood. Chris and Joanie were very kind and responsive to any of our questions and/or needs. Thank you both, again, for a fabulous week! We will be back :-)

Perfect location at Bethany West. Neighborhood was friendly and active. Joanie and Chris promptly communicated and the overall process was a breeze. Family of 7 lived comfortably in the house for a week. House setup was perfect for single level living. Outside shower and charcoal grill was a nice touch. Spent a lot of time in the sunroom and big porch. Will definitely stay here again. Cleaning crew needs to step it up was the only minor negative.

Walk a few more blocks and you're at the pool! We figured out that if you walk through the "bike path" next to the house, you can catch the beach trolley right there. Chris and Joanie thought of everything and the house was nicely decorated, updated, and well-equipped.

I took off just one star because a 5 would be even closer to the beach, but otherwise it’s perfect.The ability to walk to the nature center, Wawa, Grotto pizza, sushi, etc was really nice and the Giant Food and CVS are only about 5-7 minute drives away for easy cooking. Restaurant recommendations were on-point! Thanks for a great stay!
