Great location. Had a good time. Would have been better if not for the hurricane coming in that forced us to leave a day early. But that kind of stuff happens.
Only thing I would suggest is to improve the TV situation. Would have been nice to be able to access local channels.

We Loved our stay at your beautiful place. It was so quiet and relaxing. It was perfect for two people but it felt spacious just the same. Loved the beautiful living room and the laundry room was much appreciated. We cooked in the kitchen and spent a lot of time outside on the chairs - perfect.

We had often done day trips to the area (3 hour drive each way) and loved it, but were always pressed for time and had to hurry through things. It was so nice to have the time to truly relax and enjoy the amenities of the cottage and the attractions in the area. The weather cooperated wonderfully. Lovely place, lovely area, lovely time - a real blessing!

Beautiful cottage by the sea on the schoodic pennisula. The cottage provides all the amenties of home. Take in the breathtaking views with lobster boats coming in to haul their catch. A great area for hiking, golf, boating and relaxation. We cannot wait to come back to Corea Cottage!

Great property
I would have liked to have more outside amenities. There was only a picnic table…..no deck, Adirondack chairs, fire pit…. Not very comfortable to enjoy the vista.

Private & Perfect.
Private & Perfect. Lovely setting. 20 minute drive to Schoodic Point. 1 hr 15 minute drive to Acadia. Well appointed cabin on a lobster fishing bay. We saw working lobster boats and 2 seals from our living room window.

Having stayed at Corea Cottage before, we were nervous that it might not be as wonderful as we remembered. Perish the thought - it was even better. We love the spectacular views from the windows, the soft lull of the waves lapping on the shore, & the joy of watching the lobster boats in the morning. We ate lunch once more at JM Garrish (our favorite place), shopped at the 5 & 10 store for souvenirs, & purchased jelly and bread at the farmers' market on Tuesday. We explored the Schoodic Peninsula portion of Arcadia National Park on board the Island Explorer (for free :-). If going to Bar Harbor, we recommend taking the ferry, instead of driving - less hassle as parking is almost nonexistent & traffic is hard to navigate. The ferry docks right at the Village Green so you are ready to shop or eat as soon as you land. We also attended Milbridge Days that included a parade, vintage car show, vendors, baked goods, & a lobster lunch at the fire station. There is so much to love & do from the cottage that we can hardly wait to come back.

Be advised that there are limited pantry provisions (this makes sense, especially with COVID), as was noted previously, so plan to bring or purchase anything that you may need to cook with you. Doing so in Ellsworth gives you the most options.
Overall, my husband and I enjoyed the peaceful setting, the smell of the trees, the sound and view of the ocean, and being able to see the various wildlife, as well as the lighthouse, via the large featured windows of this cottage! Our week of rest and exploring Acadia National Park was definitely something that we needed and we hope to return in the future.

We were looking for a pandemic escape, and Corea Cottage was the perfect isolated getaway. The cottage is beautifully decorated and well laid out with everything you need. The views are unforgettable, the internet is excellent, and the kitchen is nicely appointed.
Highly recommended getaway in a slice of paradise but/still have all the comforts of home.

Cottage on the water.
The Corea Cottage is a cute, clean property located on the water. My husband and I spent a few nights relaxing during Covid 19. We enjoyed cheese and crackers In the evenings watching the sunset and breakfast watching the lobster boats. If you are traveling during covid, please bring food because many places did not open for the season. The blueberry ice cream at Me and Ben’s was delicious and lunch at JM Garrish’s was good. It was an easy 15 minute drive to the Schoodic portion of Acadia. We drove the loop and stopped at the various points and hiked a couple of trails. We chose to take the ferry over to Bar Harbor. You really get to see the soaring granite coastline on the ferry but we were limited In what we could do because we didn’t have a car and the busses weren’t running this season. We did take a trolley which stopped at a few of the highlights. Sitting in the yard at the picnic is very serene and a welcome break from the covid chaos.

Enchanted!
We loved our week in the Corea Cottage! Watched the sun rise and the tide move in and out! Ate delicious Seafood! Heard and saw many shore birds! Delightful full moon on Friday the 13th! An artist dream house! We will be returning!

Corea Cottage was Amazing
We stayed at the Corea Cottage for a week on our honeymoon in Maine and it was perfect. It is a beautiful, peaceful little cottage on the water with everything you need to cook and entertain. We loved taking the ferry to explore Acadia National Park, have lunch on Schoodic Point and at the Corea Lunch on the Wharf. Getting a lobster from the Lobstore to cook ourselves was also a highlight. Highly recommend Ray's Meat Market if you want some fresh beef for a break from the lobster during your stay. Cheryl was very helpful with recommendations and giving us all the information we needed for the stay. Thanks! Can't wait to return to Maine someday.

Cottage with a view!
What a perfect spot to spend our vacation. Loved watching the sunrise over the water while having my morning coffee. And the moon rise as well. This cottage was the perfect size for my husband and I and had everything we needed. And most importantly very clean. Great location near the schoodic peninsula. We happened to be at schoodic point a couple hours before high tide and it was an amazing sight! And an easy drive to bar harbor and Acadia!

This is a beautifully designed and decorated one bedroom cottage in a quiet and lovely location.
We loved our stay at the Corea Cottage. We were looking for something quiet and away from the crowds but that still had access to hiking, restaurants, and of course a water view. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice. This is a beautifully designed and decorated one bedroom cottage with the lovely views of the water. It’s extremely quiet, but about a 15 to 20 minute drive to various restaurants and wonderful hiking in a quiet portion of Acadia National Park. We took a nice ferry ride over to Bar Harbor, where we were also able to explore other parts of Acadia. We stayed three days here, and easily could’ve stayed longer. My one minor complaint would be that the couch in the living room is not terribly comfortable if you want to watch some television in the evenings. Otherwise the two arm chairs with a view of the water are extremely comfortable for sitting and reading. If we were ever to come back to Maine, we would be delighted to stay at the cottage again.

We had the most wonderful time at Corea Cottage. Cheryl was very helpful whenever we had a question. It was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The view was amazing - beautiful! We had so much to fill our times exploring this beautiful area. Grindstone Point and Cranberry Point were perfect spots to paint. We would not hesitate in returning to this private retreat. Unbelievably Relaxing!
The Corea Cottage was perfect! Rarely (never) do “rentals” exceed expectations - this one did! This was the most relaxing week I’ve had in years. The cottage was perfect. The setting was wonderful. The people were awesome. I ended up going to the Corea Lobster CoOp (highly recommend) and purchasing “dinner” most nights (there’s a new lobster pot waiting for the next guests). Restaurants in Winter Harbor were great, but the best eating experience was going to the Corea Wharf for lunch and watching the lobster fleet return home(get the chowder and a grilled cheese). We are already looking at dates for our return visit. Thank you so much!

Peaceful with an incredible view!
The Corea Cabin was a wonderful oasis in our 4600 mile drive of the northeastern U.S. Although it's relatively close to local eateries and Acadia National Park, we found it hard to tear ourselves away from the massive picture windows that overlooked Gouldsboro Bay. Since our visit was early in the season, we took advantage of the smaller crowds to sample some Maine seafood (ask about the pickled wrinkles) and relax in the cool sea air.
