The Camp House combines a comfortable modern cabin with a rustic original bunkhouse—perfect for families, hunting trips, work trips, Round Top weekends, or a peaceful getaway from the city.
The property combines classic ranch character with comfortable, updated accommodations. The house features a full kitchen with a large island and bar seating, a comfortable living area, private bedroom, full bathroom, and cozy sleeping loft for kids.
The completely remodeled bunkroom adds even more space and privacy, with two additional bedrooms and a half bath. This makes the Camp House especially well suited for families, couples traveling together, hunting groups, or guests who simply want a little extra room to spread out.
One of the best places to enjoy the ranch is the long covered front porch. Start the morning with coffee beneath the live oaks, watch wildlife and Longhorn cattle in the surrounding pastures, or unwind in the evening as the sun sets over the countryside.
Guests can also enjoy the outdoor spaces and relaxed ranch atmosphere, whether gathering around the fire pit, grilling outside, playing yard games, or simply enjoying the peace and quiet.
Although the property feels tucked away in the country, you're only a short drive from historic downtown Columbus, local restaurants, shops, and area attractions.

The stay was nice! Very rustic and country living at its finest. You have to open two gates to reach destination and will see cows along the way. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is for you. The main cabin was very clean and nice! The attached bunkhouse was much more rustic. As long as you know that, you’re golden.

We booked both ranch house listings for our group. Ages ranged from 11 to 84.
David is a fabulous host and the experience
was everything we were seeking.

We had a great time celebrating my brother’s birthday at the camp house! We loved the decor on the inside, bed was comfy, AC great and everything worked. The shade trees and outside night lights were nice.
Responses were timely and very accommodating.
If we are in the area again needing a place to stay we will definitely book again.
