About this campground/ rv resort rental
Situated in Greers Ferry Lake, this charming campground/
rv resort for $125 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Economical, very cute and clean year-round Vacation Rental. Cabin style decor to complete the lake getaway feeling people are looking for. Satellite TV, furniture, dishes, and linens all included in the price. Yearly rates: $125/night, $678/week, $1,500/month. (prices shown before taxes which will be an additional 9.625% charge). We are located at 199 Wallace Rd, in Tumbling Shoals area. We are out on the peninsula on Old Highway 25. Go across dam and go to Tumbling Shoals, take Old Highway 25, that ends at lake within 3 miles. We are about 1/2 mile from lakeshore. Greers Ferry Lake and free Public Boat Launch about five minutes from the retreat. New boat launching ramp build in 2012, large area with paved parking for boats/trailers while boating. Dam Site Marina is about 1/4 mile by water straight across the lake from where you launch your boat. Level, large open area to come in and park your boat or party barge in front of fence in front of rental. Plenty of room for more than one boat or party barge. Enjoy the privacy of your back deck while relaxing in the quiet countryside in a wooded area. There is seating, tables, and a new gas grill on the back deck. Privacy for two families with each bedroom having private baths. Master bedroom with king size bed is located at one end of the MH and two bedrooms, each having a double bed is located at the opposite end of MH. Mobile home will be open upon your arrival with keys on the kitchen table. We live next door to our rental, therefore, are available for any problems or questions you may have. This home is spotless and the setting is awesome. Betty was wonderful from the first. Pictures do not do this property justice. It's a very quiet private place, but only 10-15 mins from anything you want or need. Will stay here again.

We had a great time in Tumbling Shoals—in what we came to call Black Bear Cabin, for its whimsical bear theme. Spacious and lit with big windows, it served wonderfully for our working break. The trout fishing at John F. Kennedy Park was unexpectedly fun—and successful, while the newly-added backyard deck was enjoyable for catching quite a lot of winter sun. We didn’t get as much mileage out of the Netflix perk, since we don’t watch that many movies, but a family would enjoy it—and we really liked the Keurig. : ) All the folks we met in Tumbling Shoals and nearby Heber Springs were friendly and helpful as we negotiated car-repair, eye exams, a medical issue, shopping and trying out the local eateries. We appreciated having room for our RV and a carport for our car (especially nice during those Arkansas thunder storms!). The relationship with Betty felt comfortable—she gave us “space,” while we knew she was always accessible and available if any need should come up. We are hoping for a return visit to Tumbling Shoals!

Plus, I didn't realize how close it was to Old Hwy 25 campground/swim beach. We timed it and it's only 3 minutes! By the way, the swim beach there is awesome.
The house was a perfect place to rest and relax after a fun day of swimming. The kitchen is large and there was even a highchair for our youngest. Also, the washer and dryer are priceless for a family!
I had goals of soaking in the large tub in the master bathroom but we just stayed too busy with other activities. Next time. 😊

Great location, quiet, relaxing, very comfortable. The owners actually forgot that we was coming so the beds we're dirty but that's no biggie we just change them and that was that. Then we had an issue with the key not working but those were just minor things and all in all I had a great time. This place is clean and smoke-free so it smells very well.
