Anvil cottage is a comfortable well kitted out out of the way place, easy for a quiet week or so to get away from it all. The property has all you would need, but if there is anything missing hosts Nigel and Marie who live in the adjoining property are always keen to help. Spacious , easily large enough for a family of four. Lovely outside areas including a garden, a hard standing area with table and chairs, a pergola and a secret raised small alcove with table/chairs. Blakeney is just over a mile away ( where the nearest pub and shop are )so walkable if you are fit, there is a hill to walk up ‘ down first. A couple of supermarkets in Lydney 4 miles away. Cycling in the Forest of Dean is plentiful, approx 3 miles away. Easy to switch off from the world for a week here.
