Tuesday morning is without doubt the best time to visit. The market holds a fascinating insight into rural Devon. Here you will find local farmers bidding for poultry and small animals. There are also stalls selling local produce, plants and crafts. This is not a tourist attraction - it is the real Devon and should not be missed. Ideal base to explore Devon and Cornwall.
