My family and I stay in Bowness every October.
My family and I stay in Bowness every October. This house was just right for our family of five. Could have done with another toilet, however we have stayed in many different houses and they aren’t all designed to fit an extra bathroom. This is really something everyone should accept and get over. Would definitely stay again thanks. Regards David and Maria Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Beautiful cottage in a very quiet location within easy walking distance of the lake, shops, bars and restaurants. Bit of a climb back to the cottage but let’s face it you go to the lakes for the walking. Cottage had all the facilities we needed and was lovely and cozy for the odd night in. The house is located some distance away from the town center but close to the marine and public slipway which was convenient for us as we brought our own kayaks and didn't have to travel far to launch them. We also liked that the house is tucked away at the end of a quiet lane - it felt safe to leave our kayaks outside and helped to avoid the crowds, a big plus at the time when social distancing is advised. We cooked most meals indoors and although the kitchen is small, it is well equipped and functional. There were clear instructions around the house on how to use everything we could have needed. We didn't find a problem having one bathroom to share between 4 people as there is also a sink in the main bedroom, but the fact that there is no downstairs toilet could be an issue for somebody who might struggle with a long staircase. On the whole we found everything as shown and described on the website, our communications with the owners were very helpful and the property was a great base for the area and overall a good value for money for a house of this size in such a popular location. Great location.
Great location.
Great location. Nice and secluded among mature trees and gardens.enjoyed sitting outside on an evening. Views of lake Windermere from upper bedroom.Beds were somewhat uncomfortable and could not open bedroom sash windows to let in fresh air as temperature reached 30 degrees outside.within walking distance of Bowness. Taxi from upper Windermere is only £5. We enjoyed our stay at Belfield. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a lovely time.
We had a lovely time.
We had a lovely time. The area was great with loads to do. The house was bigger than we thought and had lots of character. Walking up the drive in the dark and the steps on the first floor were something to be careful of but were in the description of the accom so we were prepared. A lovely house and would stay again!
