This end terraced house is situated in the centre of Filey, with a beautiful large sweeping beach which never seems crowded due to the sheer size of it. You can walk from Filey to Reighton Gap along the lovely flat sandy beach, where children can run around or build sandcastles as well as take a donkey ride. Filey is a very traditional resort with a long promenade and a cobbled landing down to the fishing boats. The Cleveland Way finishes in Filey, all 110 miles of it. Where this trail finishes, the Wolds Way starts with 79 miles of stunning countryside across the beautiful Wolds making Filey perfect for leisure walkers or the hikers amongst you. The rugged cliff tops lead you up the coast to Flamborough Head, Scarborough and towards Whitby. The RSPB cliffs at Bempton are very special as this is where you can see thousands of puffins, guillemots and kittiwakes as well as the odd seal sunbathing. Yorkshire is famous for its market towns and there’s plenty within a short drive. Beverley, known as one of Yorkshire’s best kept secrets, is well worth a visit with its quaint streets and market square. Driffield, Pickering and Malton are all vibrant market towns. Take the family to Flamingo Land theme park and zoo, or Go Ape in the Dalby Forest.
