You will enjoy spectacular unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean in this 8 bedroom 6.5 bath home, which will comfortably accommodate up to 19 people. Your private 23 x 12 ft dune side pool is perfect for relaxing and entertaining, and a private beach walkway puts you just steps away from the ocean's edge. You will appreciate the convenience of having an elevator that takes you from the parking area to the 1st & 2nd floors. The first level boasts a beautiful open floor plan with a large living and dining area overlooking the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. You'll be amazed at the views from the huge ocean front covered balcony, just off the main living area. A spectacular gourmet kitchen is very well stocked and invites family and friends to gather around the large bar area including a wine chiller, as well as in a lovely dining area, which seats 14-16 people comfortably. Also located on the 1st floor is a bedroom on the street side with a private balcony. Off the main living area you will find a full sized laundry room with an extra ice maker. A large pantry provides plenty of extra storage as well as a secondary fridge/freezer for your convenience. The second level offers a sitting area with a convenient wet bar, mini fridge, microwave & coffee maker and a beverage fridge. This level offers a beautiful covered beach front sundeck and 4 additional bedrooms. On the top floor you will find a recreational area with 2 futons and a private uncovered balcony overlooking the ocean, as well as the remaining 3 bedrooms. You will appreciate the rare treat of having all beds made up and ready upon your arrival. Enjoy the convenience of having three refrigerators in which to stock up for your stay along with an extra ice maker. There are various decks and covered porches from which you'll enjoy taking in the views, watching the coastal wildlife, dining, entertaining and gazing up at the stars. An extra large charcoal grill is available for your use alongside the pool deck, and an outdoor hot/cold shower is available to wash the sand away at the end of the day. Stay connected and entertained with 11 flat screen tv's, high speed WiFi and cable. With all it's features, this island home is just the retreat you and your guests have been looking for on the peaceful West End of Holden Beach. This is a PET FREE property Swimming pools are open each year from April 15 thru October 15. Pool heater may be available upon advance request only, with pool heating fee of $400 plus tax paid in advance. Pools are cleaned prior to arrival, and also cleaned mid-stay for 7 night rentals. The house worked great for our family. The ice maker was not expected and it was great to have available. The elevator helps with getting the luggage up to the floors without doing the steps. We would definitely consider staying here again.

We loved our stay at Sandy Dunes where members of five families from North Carolina and Pennsylvania reconnected for a wonderful sun filled week. The 8 bedrooms were a perfect configuration for the 19 of us, from 3 years to 72 years and everything in between. The common space was very easy for groups and the porches were wonderful. We did wish the pool were a little bigger, but that was the only negative. Great time in a great space!!

I never write reviews, but would like to take the time. This property is everything as listed. We fit a family of 14 in here comfortably! House was spotless, very well stocked. We chose this property because it was in the middle of our families. Two families came from Fl and one from NJ. Holden Beach was different for us from FL because there is NO 'entertainment' near by. However, our family did enjoy eating all of the meals at 'home' and the family time it created by staying 'home'. Lots of laughs! The property is right on the beach, and the pool is perfect! (and warm!)

Overall this place checked all the boxes plus some! Plenty of space for everyone (4 families- 14 ppl), kitchen was completely stocked, lots of refrigerators and ice maker was huge!!, entertainment areas were nice and huge deck for storing beach equipment or hanging out after the kids went down. Only suggestions I would give would be to upgrade the TVs in the main living room space (need to be larger), multiple washer dryer combos (already slated to be installed according to the notice posted in the kitchen) and a larger trash can to accommodate kitchen size bags. Will be back!!
