Great location…can walk to the beach or sit on wooden swing and look through the trees and listen to the waves. Had a wonderful stay.

Charming little cottage. Very comfortable furniture and Queen size bed. Great location with private walking path from cottage to the beach/lake. Hearing the waves from the cottage was really wonderful and relaxing.

My husband and I came to the cottage with our dog for a weekend away for my husband's birthday, and it was wonderful. So close to the lake and a very short drive into a cute small town with a variety of restaurants. We were also close to several wineries. The cottage was the perfect place to come back to to relax at the end of the day, or to relax in throughout the day.

We had a great time and stay. Short walk to the fire pit and beach. Very clean inside and decorated very nice. Very cute. New grill outside and plenty of appliances for cooking. I’d definitely come back and stay again.

Very Relaxing, Wonderful Beach!

I wanted to surprise my wife for out 20th Anniversary with a getaway weekend. So happy I chose this cottage. While the weather didn't cooperate for me, spending time with her (and our dog) in the comfortable cottage on the shores of Lake Erie was priceless. Thanks Dale for a wonderful weekend.

This property and location are perfect in every way. The home is so clean, comfortable, and well furnished. I almost wanted to stay in bed each morning but there was so much to see and do. The beach is amazing. I found so many cool rocks and beach glass. The wineries are close. People are friendly. We will return!

Second year at this property we love going here, quaint just off the beach serene just love coming here and just relaxing, We'll definitely be back again.

This is a great place to stay that is pet friendly. Very clean and excellent location. We have stayed here a few times.

We had a wonderful week at "Beeches." The cottage is decorated to reflect the woodsy atmosphere in which it is set with calm colors, oriental rugs, pine floors, some cool antiques, and modern touches. It is very comfortable, and the owners have gone out of their way to have on hand just about anything that a renter might need. The cottage sits on a hill above Lake Erie; we loved the views of the lake and the sunsets are phenomenal. The bit of woods at the top of the hill between the cottage and the lake have nice walking paths running through them and all lead to the steps going down to the beach. Our golden retriever had a wonderful time running through the trees and along the paths and running along the beach. We were just as enthusiastic but followed a little more slowly. We found this to be the perfect place to spend a beautiful Fall week.

Our stay was so relaxing . The cottage is cozy and adorable. Everything is inviting about the property. Spending time at the lake and watching the sunset was great. Would love to go again.

The owners thought of everything…decorated beautifully, wide range of books, games, movies! Towels, beach towels, bug spray, every convenience appliance( No oven)-no problem! Cute paths to walk around, steps to beach and peaceful beach! My only negative was the quad buzzing around, but got used to it. Very nice owners!

Cottage was more than we could have dreamed of! Perfect for the two of us! Met some wonderful people and the property is very well-kept!

This is our 2nd time staying at Dale and Dave's beautiful little cottage but this time we brought our 2 pups along. This place is the best! So peaceful and relaxing and has everything you could possibly need. We definitely can't wait to go back and would recommend anyone else do the same. Rigby and Jax had a blast too!

Really lovely. Just right for 2 people. Be aware there is no stove/oven but a hot pad and outdoor propane grill that work well. Very safe, quiet neighborhood. The only sounds are the lake and a very distant train. Would definitely come back.

Property is shared for beach and woods access but no problem. It's private most of the time and everyone is freindly. Cottage is very nice one bedroom studio type. Small loft above for kids or third guest. Ladder access. Most of all its pet freindly. We love The town of Barcelona and all the local wineries. We will be back many more times as long as it can be rented.

We had another wonderful visit to the cottage! The cabin was perfect as always. The weather and sunsets were amazing, especially for the first day of summer. We’re looking forward to coming back next year!

"The Beeches" as this rental is named, is a classy, cozy, "positive vibe" cottage with private beach access & located in an area with several restaurants & areas to explore. We were welcome to bring our puppy as well. The hosts, Dale & Dave are welcoming & available.
