Situated in Minneapolis, this attractive house for $130 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Located in the heart of the Arts District in NE Minneapolis, this Victorian Duplex is 6 blocks from three of the best Brewpubs in Minneapolis (Dangerous Man, Indeed, Able), and 10 blocks from 9 more:). We are 2 blocks from a couple of the best restaurants in NE and less than a mile from some of the best Ethnic restaurants on Central Avenue. This is a duplex and I live upstairs with my kids 50% of the time , you will be renting the lower unit which has its own private entrances. (Please don't be concerned about noise if you are bringing children) The home features a large master bedroom that looks out onto the koi pond in the back yard. The Landscape has won a MNLA award for outstanding Design and has been featured in numerous magazines and local papers. It has a 20x4x4 deep Koi pond that can be used for soaking in! There is an outdoor kitchen with a built in grill and Custom built Wood fired Pizza Oven. For the sports fan the tarp covering the kitchen and cooking area is a piece of the original metrodome roof. For the kids there is a sandbox,a climbing wall and a lookout tower:) Plenty of room for entertaining; the Dining room is set up as another living room with a built in checker board. Plenty of seating in the main living room as well and a 50" 4K Television. The kitchen is set up for cooking with Stainless steel cookwear, quality knives and numerous small appliances. Convenient to the busline and Uber to the light rail.

Place was nice and spacious. Back yard was amazing as reviewed by many. Eric was very nice and helpful with recommendations, plus quick to communicate with. Overall great rental and we enjoyed ourselves. Beds were comfy, linen nice and clean. Only two things that i can say weren't our family preference is no window coverings. Windows are private, just bright in morning. Flipside, kitchen is very dark once sun goes down. We had to use flashlights. Those aren't really cons, just giving full review.

Loved the place and the area. The only drawbacks were the outside grill area was non-functioning and the house had an old-time smell. Other than that, i would definitely stay there again.

My adult son and I stayed in Eric’s home while in Minneapolis to see family. We had so much comfortable space, and the backyard is magnificent! I spent the nice evenings out near the pool, just listening to the waterfall and crickets; it was so relaxing. I would recommend this property very highly, and hope Eric will share it with us again on our next visit!

We had a wonderful long weekend at the property. The house is spacious and comfortable. The back yard is charming and private. The owner, Eric was helpful and had great sight seeing and restaurant suggestions. We will stay again.

The backyard is amazing. My family of 4 (kids 9 and 13) enjoyed the hot tub and soaking pool. Wonderful space to relax, eat, and play games. Location was great for a Twins game - took the bus to the game (route 17) and walked home after. Neat neighborhood with a mix of art, breweries and restaurants.

This place is exactly what we were looking for for a long weekend in Minneapolis. It had plenty or room and was in a convenient location for a longer walk/short Lyft downtown and was easily walkable to the many places that the neighborhood had to offer. Will definitely check it out again the next time we're in town.

This home is vintage but updated nicely. There is a good source of heat and adequate lighting (though some lamps would've been appreciated). I loved that I could see outside but there was also privacy with the window coverings. The kitchen is well stocked with stove top cooking supplies and even more than the average cooking staples. Eric was very reachable with any questions or concerns I had. The patio would be awesome in warmer weather but we did get to enjoy the hot tub!

We had a lovely stay here and Eric was a great host during our party in the backyard. When we booked, we were unaware that this is a split level victorian and we were only getting the lower level. The owner lives on the upstairs level. It wasn't an issue for us, it actually turned out for the best as Eric used his mad pizzaiolo skills at our party (which was pre-approved with him, of course), but it was a surprise when we arrived as we thought it was a true "entire house" rental. As long as you go in with the expectation that the owner does live on the property - you'll be very happy. Eric is awesome, his place is fine and the location is fabulous. Highly recommend if you want to be close to great neighborhoods and downtown. Street parking was never an issue and Eric was very communicative throughout the process.

We enjoyed our stay. Location perfect, everything in downtown Minneapolis was easily accessible. Lots of street parking in the neighborhood. Washer / dryer not working but host offered to let us use his. Laundromat only 2 blocks away ($2.50 for wash, I believe and $1.50 for dry) so it was easy enough to use that. Host used excellent communication throughout the stay.

We enjoyed our stay here. Lots of space for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young kids) and an awesome location for getting to/from local attractions. Eric, the owner, is very easy to talk to, accomodating and addressed any concerns right away.

Updated kitchen, lots of room,great location and wonderful art. Could have used a table or floor lamp however. Beautiful landscape but needed a little upkeep. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

The biggest thing to note is marked as "entire house" and it's not. It only qualifies that way because there are no shared entrances or exits. The owner lives upstairs that is accessed by another door to the right. During my visit he had kids and a furniture moving party or something? Every single morning around 8am, there was a lot of stomping around and one day, it literally sounded like they were moving tables across a hard wood floor for what seemed like a very long time. This is very unfortunate because I was there for a Prince Celebration at Paisley Park and every single night I wouldn't get in until the wee hours like 3. It was one of the reasons why I chose a listing as an entire house so that I wasn't worried about making noise. The other things that would probably freak folks out would be tons of water damage and cracks in the ceiling in almost every room, cobwebs in almost every corner including right next to the microwave and even in the shower! I killed a massive silverfish in the tub and two spiders. The main bedroom is a king size temperpedic mattress, but the bedding was dirty. The comforter was dirty and stained, there were long black hairs in the sheets (I have short hair), and there just so many bad details liked the chair in the master bedroom that had a huge bleach like stain. I never sat anywhere other than the bed and office chair during my entire stay, but again, these are details that a lot of people would point out. When I first arrived the owner asked that I take off my shoes, but there is no reason for it at all. There are hardwood floors that are filthy dirty, not swept, covered in spots by old dirty Persian style rugs. If it was immaculate wooden floors, or new carpeting, I would totally understand, but the floors were filthy. When I was getting things together to leave, I had to look under the bed and ...just wow. You also share a water heater. Not one single day did I have hot water. It was always just lukewarm which really stunk. Location wise, it's great for downtown access with a lot of cool places less than a couple miles away. For Prince fans, Paisley Park is about 30 minutes away and First Avenue is about 15. Downtown Minneapolis is 5-10 depending on where in MPLS you want to go. I lost sleep over this review because I know the owner has good intentions and seems like a really nice guy, but I had to communicate these issues. He really just needs to thoroughly clean & most things would be fixed.
