If you're short on time, explore three unique neighborhoods in Minneapolis:
- Central Business District: In downtown Minneapolis, the central business district isn't all about work. You can access loads of stores and restaurants by way of the Minneapolis Skyway System, which makes getting around lots of fun. At night, check out the theaters or historic music venues in the area.
- North Loop: While you're downtown, stop by North Loop (aka the Warehouse District), where old warehouses have been converted into trendy shops, restaurants, and galleries. Sports fans also come to North Loop to watch Minnesota Twins baseball or Minnesota Timberwolves basketball.
- Uptown: Southwest of the central business district, Uptown offers a mix of shopping, dining, arts, entertainment and outdoor recreation around Lake Calhoun and Lake of the Isles.
