About this house rental
Cozy pet friendly home. Its the front unit of the duplex . Both bedrooms have queen size memory foam mattresses. It is fully equipped and had plenty of parking. We are near the airport but double paned glass cuts the noise way down. Tucked in a residential neighborhood. With a convenience store and restaurants within close walking distance. Less than 2 miles north of ASU. Centrally located for the spring training stadiums in the cactus league. Less than 2 miles from the Phoenix zoo. Less than 2 miles from the Rolling Hills Golf Course. 1 mile from grocery store. Less than 1 mile from the North Tempe Multigenerational center for a gym. 1/4 mile from the free Tempe earth orbit bus for ride to ASU or Tempe market place. Freeway less than 1 mile away. Regular public bus also available in close walking distance There is a washer and drier guests can use just out your back door on the left. You can also use the back patio where we have a table and chairs also set up If you are bringing pets call me before booking... the answer is usually yes. The front door has an electronic lock so and I will send you a custom code so you can let yourself in on late arrival. If you need an early check in or late check out ask... I might be able to accommodate. 3 night minimum stay

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this location. We had everything we needed to cook at home including a full size refrigerator. It is close to a major highway and to shopping malls and restaurants. Would stay here again.

My husband and I spent six weeks at this property. We had everything we needed. The rooms were well furnished with comfortable seating area and lots of closet space and storage. The neighborhood was good and well located for everything we did. The one area that needs improvement is the tv set up. There two remotes for the tv. It was a little confusing to operate. We had antenna channels and Netflix. I wish we had had access to streaming. All in all it was a wonderful escape from the Midwest winter.

This house fit our needs perfectly! Well-equipped kitchen and linens, clean, close to restaurants, and easy access to the freeway. Jose was quick to respond to any questions we had. I felt safe in the neighborhood for my early morning and evening dog walks and/or runs.

There were enough dishes etc. in the kitchen to make a decent meal for 2. Main areas were clean but there were some dusty areas underneath furniture. The host was notified and already has a plan to address it with the cleaner. The property could use a deep cleaning. The host was very responsive and has a plan to do so. It is a small property but was nicely painted and decorated. There is a sofa bed in the living room which does increase sleeping area but like most sofa beds is not very comfortable to sit on. There are 3 tv's that all work fine. We would stay there again when we are in the Phoenix area for a few days.

I recently rented this property for outbif town family for my wedding. Jose was so easy to deal with and everything went flawless with their stay! My cousin said it was all beautiful and clean and perfect for their family of 6! Much better than staying in a hotel. Beware nasty neighborhood
The unit was lovely and well appointed. It would have been nice to have the AC ON WHEN WE ARRIVED, since we had confirmed our arrival time.
The neighborhood is appalling. Boarded houses, loose dogs, broken cars, not the place to walk the dogs at night or in the morning.
Not something one can figure out without the address.

The Property and our stay
It was our understanding that this rental is relatively new for this family. You should take that into consideration when reading this review. The landscaping became overgrown with weeds, an issue that Jose was going to address. Inside the unit the patio door leading outside would seem to need replacing and when mentioned to Jose he agreed that its replacement was in their plans. The unit is located in the landing path of the airport so there was a bit of noise to get used to. Its location gave easy access to the highways. Shopping malls were a short drive away. We walked most days in the neighborhood and were impressed with the people and the way people seemed to care about their homes.
There had been some miscommunication resulting in the unit not being prepared for us when we arrived in the evening on January 1st. The internet hookup was very good. I don't remember having an issue with that. We were there for three months so the problems we encountered with the TV became somewhat of an issue. It is not a cable hookup so there were interruptions in reception. I must say that Jose and his daughter were very responsive when we had an issue. They were clearly attempting to make things right and wanted us to enjoy our stay. They went so far that first day to remove a couple pieces of furniture that we didn't need.
I think that if you are looking for a reasonable priced rental you should consider this one. They may have already resolved the issues that arose for us. You might check with Jose if any would be of concern to you.

Cute, comfy cottage
The property is located just off of Scottsdale Rd, in what must have been an unincorporated area based on the types of houses in the immediate surroundings. This was initially a concern, but once inside the very cute and updated property I was very comfortable. There are tons of recent upgrades, and I loved the big screen TV in the living room. The kitchen was modern and overlooked the living area. Both bedrooms were roomy and the bed I slept on was quite comfortable. I was traveling with my two older dogs and they were also very comfortable (not jumpy or anything). We all had an excellent nights sleep after a long drive from Idaho, stopping by only for one night before continuing on to Palm Desert, CA.
Jose was very accommodating and provided a fan to help accelerate the cooling, and keep the temps down while it was 116 degrees outside. I highly recommend this property.

The property was updated and clean. It was stocked with everything we needed.
It was our first airbnb experience and I was instantly sold. Jose was so easy to work with to organize our trip. Upon our arrival he was there quickly to meet us and introduce himself. I will stay again on my next visit.

Cute home!
I stayed in this home in Tempe for an extended weekend. It is conveniently located off of Scottsdale Blvd., two block from the 202 and 5 minutes to ASU and Mill Ave.
This home is very cozy. You can tell most of the home has been remodeled as the many things in the unit appeared to be new. The kitchen had everything one would need, including a microwave and a coffee maker. The beds were very comfortable and had temperpedic-type mattresses. The entire home was very clean.
I would have rated it five stars but the neighborhood is so so (but definitely not unsafe) and we had issue with the shower handle breaking, in which we had to fix the handle ourselves before the owner sent a plumber, which caused a little hiccup in our morning. But the owner was very kind and apologized. Otherwise, this is a cute home that I would recommend if you are staying in Tempe.
