Thank you for allowing us to enjoy this property and Gardiner. This was a wonderful staging point to visit Yellowstone. The property was as advertised and very comfortable for the two of us. We woke up one morning with elk looking in the windows. We hope to visit again next year.

We really enjoyed our time at this cute little house. It had everything we needed for our short stay. We ended up bringing the two luggage stands downstairs because we didn't want to carry our huge bags up the winding staircase. It would be nice if they put a stack washer and dryer up at the top of the stairs. Although there is a laundromat across the way, we didn't want to spend our time there. The bottle of wine was a nice treat! Thank you!

It was probably the closest residential home to the Yellowstone gate. Absolutely beautiful views. Very cozy home! We really enjoyed our stay.

We literally watched elk from balcony.

It was a great location if you are traveling to Yellowstone. We loved the little town of Gardiner. Everything you need is there (restaurants, markets, etc.). The house is great for a couple! We had no issues at all, and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This was a great place to stay. Very close to North entrance of the park. Had everything that we needed. Great balcony for star gazing. Wild animals were walking around town, was very cool to see. There is a laundry mat right across the street. Lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance.

Host was very nice and the location is exceptional to both the north YNP entrance but easy walking to several bars and restaurants.

Very convenient and cozy spot while we were exploring Yellowstone during the day!

Steps away from north entrance, no need to stop at Costco the grocery store priced fair and close, many food options, raft/ float /wildlife/Yellowstone tour excursions 100 yards away as well as washer n dryer which we did not need. Bring clothes for all seasons

We loved our 2 night stay here. So great to be close to the park and have the cool house to return to after a hot day in Yellowstone. We’d definitely stay here again!

Awesome home in middle of the town- walking distance to everything and a block from YNP entrance . Comfortable beds, very clean and multiple porches to hang out in. Steep stairwell going to bedroom, but it is easily navigated.
Highly recommend .

The place was nice and clean. It had everything we needed. The 2nd floor balcony was a nice spot to have dinner or breakfast. The place is really close to the north entrance of yellowstone which made it easy for us. Lots of things to see and eat and they're all within walking distance.

The place is clean and quaint for Gardiner MT. Has all the essentials for a stay near YNP with very convienient access to the park. As previous reviews stated the stairway is very steep and narrow, so not for everyone, worked fine for us. Property Manager provided free bear spray which is a nice addition (cost savings). The bed matress was not comfortable for us as it sags towards the middle and woke up with sore backs. Otherwise would stay again when visiting YNP.

The place was extremely nice and the town Gardiner was wonderful to stay in. The house was directly down the road from Yellowstone’s entrance. The AC was making a loud weird noise the last night we were there, but it had been raining heavily that day so it may have just been a drainage issue. The owner was great about communication and got back to us very quickly as soon as we booked, and made sure our stay was comfortable. The kitchen had some spices, and anything that wasn’t provided was easily found just down the road at a grocery store. We would definitely come back if we come to Yellowstone again, thank you!

We arrived to Gardiner about an hour early and Kim was able to accommodate an early check in. The town of Gardiner is beautiful and we wish we had stayed longer. The proximity to Yellowstone was amazing, looking at the Roosevelt Arch from the balcony. When we return I really hope Kims’s place is available for our trip!

Great place to stay, it was very comfortable and quiet. Had everything we needed. The upstairs deck is the perfect place for happy hour, wildlife and people watching and great views of Electric Peak. And the owner had a bottle of wine waiting for us so that was very nice of him. We would definitely book it again.

Simple place that had all that we needed and in a great location.

We stayed in Gardiner when the north entrance of Yellowstone was closed. Still, we enjoyed the town and restaurants. The people were very friendly too. I have dietary restrictions and that is why we get a place with a kitchen. I was unable to cook in the kitchen since the pans were nonstick, scratched, and chipped. This was very disappointing as I had to rely on food that was previously prepared at our last location and we had to heat it in the microwave. The bed was quite comfortable. When you looked for the property, it is no longer yellow (like what you see when booking). We thought the spiral staircase was adorable, but if you have problems with stairs or heavy luggage, that could be a problem.

There were problems with the hot water. Kim did what he could to try and fix it. Otherwise, the house was good, clean, and in a good location.

This property was a great location within Gardiner. It is within two blocks of Yellowstone’s north entrance and a block away from several food and shopping establishments. The second floor balcony gives nice views of the surrounding scenery. The property is a good size for two people. Be prepared for the small spiral staircase to get upstairs.

Sweet stay
Good! I would suggest that the property description include that a spiral staircase takes you to the bedroom. Many people would not be able to use it.

LOVED Yellowstone. The convenience of staying outside the northern entrance can’t be overstated - it was wonderful to be around the corner from the entrance, and saved us a ton of time waiting to not be outside the more popular entrances (West in particular). The house itself was exactly fine - nothing special. It was relatively clean, though we were greeted with a note asking us to pitch in with cleaning before we leave because it was difficult to find a cleaner for a reasonable cost (even though we paid the cleaning fee) - it was worded pretty aggressively and was a rough start to the stay. Bed was extremely comfortable!!
The host does leave nonperishable items from previous guests in the home (there were 2 things of bear spray as well as a TON of ziploc bags and plastic forks). However, there were no shampoo/conditioner in the shower which was unfortunate as we had left ours at our previous hotel. One other side note of importance - if anyone in your group is a light sleeper, this is not the place for you. For a sleepy town, there is a LOT of street noise at all hours and the house has very poor noise insulation. It’s also a very small town, so while the location was great I don’t know that it was a huge advantage location-wise (just our opinion).
Highly recommend wonderland cafe (down the street) for dinner, go early as they don’t take reservations. Also check out tumbleweed bookstore/cafe for grab & go breakfast! Just next to the gas station across the bridge.
