A truly exceptional stay – our first time in Dubrovnik and we couldn’t have chosen better!
This was our first visit to Dubrovnik, and we stayed at Apartments Sandra Solitudo for eight wonderful days. Normally, we tend to book hotels, but after reading the incredible reviews about this property, we simply couldn't resist giving it a try — and I am so glad we did.
Having worked in five-star hotels over the years, including in Miami, as well as onboard world-class cruise lines, I can honestly say that my standards when it comes to hospitality are extremely high. It takes a lot to impress me, but this property met — and genuinely exceeded — every single expectation.
From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Sandra and Mato are two of the most welcoming, kind and genuinely lovely people you could ever hope to meet. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They were always around to offer advice, answer questions and provide recommendations on the local area, helping us make the most of our first trip to Dubrovnik.
The apartment itself had absolutely everything we needed for our eight-night stay. It was beautifully maintained, spotless, comfortable and incredibly well equipped. The interior was also absolutely stunning — thoughtfully designed and finished to such a high standard. It genuinely felt like a home away from home.
The property also boasts an incredible pool, which is private exclusively for the apartments within the property. It was the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring Dubrovnik. One of the things that makes this place particularly special is that the owners live on-site and are always around should you need anything at all — whether that's advice about where to go, recommendations for the local area, or even a drink around the pool!
Their kindness really shines through, as does their genuine love and passion for what they do.

Mato is warm and friendly with great information on the local area and recommendations. The facilities are perfect, lovely flat in a fabulous location with everything you could possibly need!

Well equipped, clean, modern and supplied with plenty towels (beach towels included).
Close to shops, pharmacy, restaurants, bars and beach. Bus stop is a 1 min walk away the old town is only a 15 min bus journey away.
Pool is very relaxing, couldn’t find many places with a pool at this price.
Host provides plenty of information at arrival which is handy.

This apartment was exceptional. Its modern and well equipped with everything needed for a longer stay including a microwave and toaster which we've learnt aren't standard items in Europe. Full cooking facilities for making meals.
Mato was such a great host, providing really helpful information about Dubrovnik and the wider area and making us feel very welcome and at home. He checked every day to ensure we had everything we needed. we couldn't have asked for a better host.
The swimming pool was amazing and very much needed after hot days exploring.
The bus stop is very close and a supermarket also nearby. It's a short walk to sunset beach and the great bars and restaurants in that area.
I highly recommend this host and property for anyone planning a stay in Dubrovnik.
