We came for a wedding. The bicentennial inn was just as expected. There are two full baths, a half bath and four sleeping areas. One of the full baths is located in the basement. There are two queen size beds located on the second floor. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms - one bedroom has an attached full size bath. There is also a half bath located on the first floor. There is a small kitchen, a living area, and a dining room. It is located in a very quaint neighborhood, quiet and clean. Loved hearing the church bells. It is an old house as expected but it is clean and well-maintained. Steve is very easy to get a hold of and was accommodating for an earlier check-in. The main hotel is just a couple blocks away where they have Continental breakfast. If we return to the area, I wouldn’t mind staying here again.

If it’s historical you are looking for then this is it. It’s an old house built small and cramped. The beds weren’t great and when you walked down the steps from the top level to the main a couple of the steps felt like they would break then once you reached the bottom step the top step creaked hard as if someone was coming down behind you. What wasn’t historic was the internet because it was super fast. They ask you to keep your dog out of the main dining room but there are no doors to the room so we had to position chairs to act as barriers. The paper products like paper towels and toilet paper were the cheapest you can buy. Just because it’s historic doesn’t mean you have to give the first paper products ever invented. In all fairness we weren’t staying there for the historical element as we were traveling the country and were just stoping for a few days to rest.
