About this house rental
Nestled in Bethany Beach, this lovely house for $288 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This elegantly appointed and spacious single-family home is in the only golf resort community in the small town of Bethany Beach, Delaware. The kitchen, living room, and bedrooms have been extensively upgraded with new furnishings, appliances, and carpeting. The large bedrooms are deliberately furnished in a non-dormitory manner to ensure a comfortable environment. All bedrooms have either queen or king size beds. Sit out on the expansive rear deck and look out over the 12th fairway and enjoy views of a pond. A Weber gas grill is there for your outdoor cooking needs. The clubhouse,swimming pool, tennis and pickle ball courts, and exercise room are only a short distance away. Rent a kayak in town and paddle around Salt Pond . If more activities are required, Rehoboth Beach (outlet shopping!) is just a short drive to the north along scenic Ocean Highway. Just to the south is Fenwick Island and Ocean City,Maryland which have almost unlimited shopping, restaurants, activities,boardwalk,etc. This house was built in 2000. The wide driveway provides plenty of parking. The community is built around a golf course which provides a lot of open space and a quiet,resort feel. The kitchen is completely stocked with any items or appliances you might need. Come and enjoy the spaciousness and privacy that only a single family home can provide! PLEASE NOTE: Because the property is on a cul-de-sac at the back of the Salt Pond golf course community, it is NOT within walking distance of the beach. VRBO, not the owner, INCORRECTLY states a one minute walk, and shows a general location based on Google Maps. The front porch and back deck were so comfortable and well-used. Interior is very spacious and beautifully furnished. Two of my family members have homes in Salt Pond so I rented this house so I could invite additional family members. We had a great family reunion!

The home is as described. It is in a good location right on the golf course. Deer and a fox can be seen in the backyard or driving to the house. Some hiccups occurred during the week stay which we have not had even during the pandemic with other VRBO properties in the area. The pool was a huge hit for us all. The cleaning staff will be there prior to the 10 am check out so be out!! John is very responsive and so is the property manager Barry.

Another great vacation at Salt Pond
This property has everything you need, literally a 2nd home! Our family continues to enjoy staying here year after year. New carpet on 2nd floor and new bedroom set in front bedroom. If we don’t drive on beach we usually hang by the pool. Great pool!

Also a short drive to the beach and using the phone app for parking is such a great idea. You don’t need to leave the beach to put cash in meter. Would definitely rent again.

Our daughter and her 10 year old girl shared the king bed. My wife and I took the BR with a queen bed. 3 grandsons slept in the room with two queen beds.
Our daughter, son in law and the infant slept in the first floor BR/den.
We enjoyed the deck, grill, long front porch and kitchen the most. The kitchen and grill got a workout from us since we cooked most of our meals for the week.
We took many early morning or evening walks (before/after golfers were done for the day) and utilized the cart path. it was so convenient just walking out back, entering the cart path from the convenience of our back yard.
In spite of the ENORMOUS protective netting along the back of the property, some golf balls managed to elude the net and hit the house during our stay (3 times this happened . . .that we know of anyway . . .probably happened more since we were at the beach or pool during the majority of the day each day). I would not let that deter you from renting this house, just beware that some golf balls may invade your space!
The pool and fitness center were excellent and we utilized the pool with the grandchildren.
Having Hockers grocery store and Liberty gas station at the mouth of the Salt Pond community was FANTASTIC and quite convenient.
The kitchen was OUTSTANDING (VERY well stocked with everything you will ever need) complete with lots of storage, high end stainless steel appliances (5 burner gas rannge/oven, microwave range hood, quiet dishwasher, side by side Frigidaire). Terrific assortment of small kitchen appliances in the lazy Susan corner base cabinet.

Our group really enjoyed our stay here! It was our first time using Vrbo and renting a house together and John made communication and check in very easy. He was very accessible and always willing to help! This house was the perfect size for our group, and the location in a country club was gorgeous. The backyard has a beautiful view of a pond and golf course, and only a short drive to the beach. The house was super clean upon arrival, and had basic necessities like coffee filters, detergent, etc. which was unexpected but very convenient! We had an amazing time on our vacation here. The master bedroom was huge, and the rest of the bedrooms were decently sized, including the room with two queen beds. Enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably. There are also TV’s in the master and double bedroom. As well as the kitchen and living room. The only thing I’d warn future people of is golfers accidentally nailing your car with a golf ball! My friend’s windshield unfortunately cracked because of a golf ball, so try to park in the garage if you can! All in all, this house was perfect for us. We definitely look forward to (hopefully) coming again next year. Thanks John!

This rental fit our extended family wonderfully, the community is beautiful
This house could not have been any better for our family of 8, 6 adults and twin grandsons. It slept us privately and had great space for us to spend family time together, inside and out. We ate dinners in the dining room, cooked out on the deck, read our books on front porch, grandsons went to bed without worrying they could hear us, on the 12 green, had golf and pool in community, NICE community, nice people, house was very homey with very nice (comfortable) furniture, huge garage to store our cars and beach stuff. We will definitely be renting this property again.

Great Vacation Home
The kitchen was extremely well stocked and the home was very comfortable and family friendly. The deck provided a view of the golf course and even came with a grill. The homeowner generously provided 20 punch activity card to be used at the complex. This was a nice perk since the activity cards cost $80.00. House came with beach toys for the kids. There were plenty of activities a short drive away. It was a short drive to the beach and shopping. We loved our stay and would highly recommend the home. We would rent this home next time we visit this area. Home owner was very pleasant to deal with. The rental price was reasonable. The one thing I found cumbersome was having to bring your own sheets and towel. We found the on line pictures representative of the home.

We stayed here July 4th week and had a great experience. This was the fartherest we have every stayed off the beach but wanted to keep costs down this year. With 2 queen beds in 3 of the rooms and a large MBR, we had plenty of beds. I like details about a house ahead of time so I will post some. One BR is on the first floor and there is a half bath on the first floor. Upstairs has one hall bath and the master bath. We put our two little girls in the MBR's walk in closet for sleeping so we still had privacy. There are extra pillows and blankets. There was soap at each sink, coffee filters, dish soap, laundry soap, dishwasher detergent, etc. which was really nice. We made most of our meals at the house. If you have small kids you should bring some small cups or paper cups which we did but there are plenty of kid friendly plates/bowls. There is a big bag of sand toys which we sorted through to throw away all the broken things, plus some boogie boards but no chairs or umbrellas. The outside shower also does not work but there are two outside hoses. The development is nice, only drawback is the pool closes at 7pm and punches are used for the pool as well as tennis courts but one punch for the day so the same person can use both. They also let us switch adults watching the kids at the pool for the same punch one time. The owner provides one 20 punch card with the house, to buy another one is $80. The owner is very available and helpful. We highly recommend this house if you don't mind being off the beach. Check-in time for us was 2pm and when we arrived a little early, the house was very clean and ready. Most rental agencies have a check in time of 4pm so we appreciated getting in earlier.
