Great location nice and roomy ..the owners could do a few upgrades quality sheets and blankets ..the pillows were horrible ...New towels along with wash clothes and had towels ...no access to Netflixs ect.. update ceiling fans in all the rooms. The potential is all there ...I would still book the house I would just bring my own blanket towels and pillows.

Our stay here was wonderful! We had four adults stay in this 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage and it suited us perfectly for our Christmas holiday. It was bigger than expected. If needed, 2 adults could have shared the queen bed. The other bed was a double and fit one adult very well, and then there were a set of very comfortable bunk beds that perfectly accommodated 2 young adults. It was an adorable, bright, clean, updated, retro beach cottage with modern amenities. The updated 1930's gas kitchen stove was great and so authentic to the time period of the home! All you had to do was turn the knobs, and the burners would automatically light up. Also had a microwave. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, very well stocked cupboards with dishes and cookware. Televisions in every room/cable/internet connection worked great. Heaters in every room kept the house cozy and warm. There was also a working wood burning fireplace. We didn't use it on our trip, but it was a great feature. The close proximity to the beach was amazing! We were about 50 steps away from the beach and could see the ocean from the front door and porch. We also had our own private garage. It would easily fit a sedan sized car and possibly another smaller car or 2 smaller cars. Unfortunately, we had a large pick-up truck that wouldn't fit in the garage, but we were able to find free, close, street parking every day/night. We stayed here during December, and there seemed to be good availability for street parking, but that might be more challenging during peak summer season. Overall, we really enjoyed staying here! Very easy check-in and check-out process. We absolutely loved our stay!!

Super clean Beach cottage. It had all the fun beach toys! We loved how close it was to everything. We would totally stay here again! Only complaint was that the garage was pretty tight. only a compact car could fit there but luckily we rented a compact car and we were glad to have a parking spot.

The house has its old charms, spacious for the 5 of us. The kitchen was well stocked with housewares, but somehow I couldn’t get the oven work. The bathrooms were bright and sufficient, just wish there were shampoo and conditioner - I had to ran out in a hurry to purchase some. There’s a shower behind the house, perfect for a quick rinse after the beach and before getting back into the house. The garage is perfect because the street parking is sparse. We found folding chairs and boogie boards in the garage, which is fantastic, kids loved it! Anyways, we had a very pleasant stay, and we would consider staying here again.

Perfect location and space to spend a week at the beach with family! Property managers quickly answered questions, the cottage had everything we needed. Hoping we can come back next summer!

This quaint beachy chic single dwelling house was the perfect choice for our family get together. It is literally steps from the beach, yet easily within walking distance of a grocery store and several restaurants. It is very comfortable space-wise, well appointed in the kitchen and has sand toys, beach chairs and umbrellas located in the garage area.. Balboa Property Management was a pleasure to work with and made check in/out extremely easy. All in all...we had a fantastic week and I would not hesitate at all to rent this again in our future!!

Great location, loved having outdoor shower and laundry on site. Nice front porch area for kids to hang out.

Absolutely the best

Check in was easy and we were very thankful for the off street parking. Parking is a HOT commodity in this area. 1/2 blk from the beach and a few blocks down the boardwalk to bars and restaurants, yet far enough away from noise and chaos, exactly the type of locale we were looking for. We endearingly referred to this as our “beach shack”. People with surf boards walking past throughout the day. It has everything you need, no frills. Nothing was pristine but you don’t expect perfection in a beach shack. Nice little patio with furniture, tvs in every room. We commented several times in our short stay how much we liked this little place. We will definitely rent it again.
