About this house rental
Located in Michigan City, this attractive house for $575 per night is a great option for your next vacation. 6 bedroom house in Beachwalk Resort. Prom parties are not allowed at the house. Starting from scratch has allowed us to build a house that has every detail thought out to make it truly a carefree rental experience. With years of renting homes, we have gathered our ideas and built a house your family will make lasting memories in. Golf cart available April 1 to November 1. Professionally decorated reflects our view of how a relaxing beach experience should be. It is 3/4 mile walk to the beach or golf cart ride which we provide. The unique features of our house is the 3 separate areas kids of all ages can play in. The den on the main level is great for the younger kids to play while the older kids play in the gaming room on the lower level. Outside is the grassy area in the back and the deck and hot tub to enjoy. On the front porch is a 400 sq. foot enclosed deck where you can relax. This is a great feature for large groups to enjoy. 17 can sleep in the house maximum 1st Bedroom - Master bedroom with a queen bed and master bath. 2nd Bedroom - Master Bedroom with a queen bed and master bath. 3rd Bedroom - Queen bed 4th Bedroom - Bunk beds with pull out trundle. Twin over full bed with trundle 5th Bedroom - Bunk beds with pull out trundle. Twin over full bed with trundle 6th Bedroom - Bunk beds with pull out trundle. Twin over twin bed with trundle Den - Queen pull out sofa couch. The first floor is an open floor plan in the great room. The den on the first floor is a great place for the kids to relax while you are cooking dinner either in the beautiful kitchen or the gas grill outside. The den also has a pull out couch. The second floor has 2 Master bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The 3rd bedroom upstairs has a twin bunk with a trundle. The 4th bedroom has a queen bed. The lower level floor has a huge area with a flat screen tv and surround sound. It also has gaming tables to enjoy. There are 2 beds down there with bunk beds and a trundle. It can accommodate up to 17 people. It has a hot tub and a grassy area backyard. Take the golf cart to the beach or use the bikes we provide for your riding pleasure. We are close to the club house pool, basketball and tennis. We have beach toys for the kids to use for the beach. Beachwalk also has a community pool, tennis and basketball. Walk to their private Lake Kai to enjoy fishing or to rent a paddleboat. Come have fun in this brand new house this year. Located right in Beachwalk Resort.

With family spread across Chicagoland and Michigan, this was once again the perfect meet up spot for us to gather. The home is perfectly set up for multiple families to have privacy but also enjoy spacious common areas. The walkable neighborhood and nearby parks and a nice perk too, all while only being a short walk to the beach.
Tricia is easy to work with and highly responsive. We will certainly return!

This was our first time staying here and it met all of our needs and was above our expectations. The house was equipped with everything we needed and the folding tables were an extra bonus for us to do puzzles and crafts at. Everyone ran smoothly and Tricia was quick to communicate with us. We would gladly stay here again!

The Royal Retreat is a very nice & spacious house. There were 9 in our group. There were 4 Sisters all retired and 5 of our daughters. It was a Mother/Daughter wknd. The house is decorated nicely, w/a very wide open concept floor plan. It’s totally stocked. We found everything we needed. We used & Loved the Hot Tub, and the golf cart was a nice added treat. Only have a few things to mention. The bunk bed on the 2nd floor, the top bunk, no one slept in it because it’s very rickety, felt too unstable while climbing up. Same for the lower level bunk beds top bunk.
Check in & out was easy peasy and Communication between our party & w/Tricia was AWESOME. She responded almost immediately whenever I had a question. It was a pleasure staying in the house. I just feel the cleaning service needs to clean better. The floors on main level were pretty dirty & the lower level bathroom shower wasn’t the cleanest. Overall it was nice

We had a wonderful family vacation at this beautiful rental! It was clean, well stocked, comfortable and we couldn’t have asked for more! The owner was very pleasant to work with and responded back in a timely manner. We are planning to rent again, same time next year and already looking forward to it! I highly recommend this home!

We have stayed in several Beachwalk properties and this was by far our favorite! New, clean, fully equipped with everything you could want including bicycles! Lots of bathrooms. Our favorite thing was that the open living/dining/kitchen area was great for our whole group to gather in the evenings. We will be back!

We had the best week at Royal Retreat! Very clean and a great layout for our extended family of 13. Wonderful location - close to the pool/playground and a short golf cart drive to the beautiful beach. The hot tub and bikes were a big hit with the kids. Definitely hope to stay again.

This is our third year and second home within Beachwalk booked with Tricia and as always the house was clean, well stocked and beautiful! We come with several kids aged baby - 6 years old and the house has everything we need for an easy stay! Already looking forward to our 2024 trip back to “the purple house” as our kids say 💜

Wonderful weekend away for ten board gaming friends. Plenty of space to spread out -- the arcade game in the basement was a welcome surprise -- and to gather to play games and cook meals. The location near downtown Michigan City made traveling to the house by train really easy, and a lunch at a local brewpub was a no-brainer. Hopefully, we will be back!

The house was great, perfect for our big group. The location was great from Chicago. The lake was very pretty even in the winter. Our kids were really looking forward to the hot tub, unfortunately, it wasn’t working properly. Tricia was very responsive, she replied quickly and sent a repairman to fix it right away.

Our second stay in this wonderful house, and our third with the owner (different property). There are so many reasons we keep coming back! Tricia is super to work with, and has the house set up with everything you need for your large family gatherings. Overflow parking lot is close by, and there's room to park at least 4 cars in front/back of the house. Bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. It's just a great place to hang out with family/friends and enjoy cooking together, puzzling, playing games, short walks to the beautiful Lake Michigan shore, etc. We'll be back! :)

Such an amazing property in a small town. Very close the the casino! Absolutely gorgeous home that made you feel like you were on a luxurious vacation- tons of amenities and the owner was incredibly helpful and communicative. I would definitely stay here again. Looked exactly like the pictures.

We came up for Notre Dame game during off-peak season. Amazing location and the house had all the amenities and space we needed for our large group. Looks like a nice area for the summer, but don't sleep on it for a football weekend in South Bend or Chicago.

We have a family getaway every year and we've stayed in Tricia's houses for at least 5 years! She is wonderful to work with and the house has everything you need. There is plenty of space for all ages and the golf cart is very useful for trips to the beach or just around the neighborhood.

We had a wonderful weekend. The house is beautiful, well equipped, and comfortable. We had 15 people and there was plenty of space for everyone. We'd definitely stay in your home again.

Our stay was fabulous! The entire family (nine adults, two children, and two infants) had plenty of space to get together as a group or be on their own. The wide open living room, dining room, and chef’s kitchen great room was fantastic for gathering, especially the huge island. The whirlpool was a big hit and the large, nicely furnished fire pit area was used every evening. We wanted to stay longer and hope to return in 2023!
