About this house rental
Escape to the woods of the Poconos, where wildlife and serenity surrounds you. Enjoy our cozy retreat with king size bed & wifi. Located less than 10 minutes to Bushkill Falls, 16 minutes to Dingman's Falls, minutes away from hiking trails and 15 minutes from Shawnee, to name just a few things to do.

Become one with nature in this serene, rustic setting. This charming 800 sq. ft. ranch home is the perfect cozy getaway, located on a wooded lot in a private community with all its amenities.
Our home comes furnished to sleep 5, 1 king size, 1 queen, and 1 twin murphy bed. One full bath with main entrance and can also enter from master bedroom, detachable shower head and cabinet with soft close drawers with some toiletry items.
Just bring the food! The kitchen is fully equipped with coffee maker, dishes, utensils, dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove, refrigerator, toaster oven, griddle, blender, a kitchen island, pantry items, and washer/dryer. There is a propane heated fireplace, (Oct-May), a ceiling fan and skylight in the living room.
We provide Roku TV, so if you have a fire stick or any other streaming device/service, please bring it. Excellent WI-FI service is available, and we do get great phone reception with most carriers. Towels, pillows, blankets & linens provided.
Outside: deck off kitchen, backyard with fire pit, picnic table & propane grill. Deer wander onto the property daily, so get your cameras ready. They will pose for you, but please don't feed them.
We recently added 2 exterior cameras to monitor our house. One is located in the driveway, the other faces the deck. Any attempt at disabling, redirecting or obscuring the cameras is prohibited and will result in full forfeiture of the security deposit.
*PLEASE NOTE: If you book for 2 guests and add people to the agreement after booking, please know for each extra person listed, it is $10 per person, per day to stay. You will be charged the excess amount that will need to be paid prior to your arrival. Our maximum is 5 guests, no exceptions*
ALSO NOTE: Absolutely no charging of electric cars at our home*
*Automatic forfeit of entire security deposit if found, otherwise.
The community requires a copy of your driver's license ID along with a signed Agreement, (see attached doc), prior to your arrival. Please fill out and send to us.
When staying, you have full access to all amenities within the community:
YEAR ROUND: Our community offers a wonderful beach/lake area with spacious pavilion, (bring your non-motor boat), tennis courts, volleyball, basketball courts, children's playground, and game room in the clubhouse, all included with your rental.
SUMMER MONTHS: (mid June - Labor Day weekend), enjoy the community outdoor swimming pool and hot tub area, open daily. Plenty of lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas. Please inquire for pool hours.
WINTER MONTHS: The indoor pool, sauna and steam room opens when the outdoor pool closes and is located in the clubhouse, open the weekend after Labor Day. Check with us for times and availability.

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO! The space was rustic, clean, and very well managed. It had everything our family needed and felt very family friendly and comfortable. Comfortably fits 5 people. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish, which made everything easy and stress-free. This was actually our second time staying here, and we would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!

Girls weekend trip, was a good stay for 2 people. We each had our own room. The living area was a good size for us. The sky light really was nice to add extra bright light into the area. Had a small issue and the host was in contact with us about it and we get it taken care of. Saw deer from the kitchen. An overall great place to stay.

Stayed with my husband last weekend. We made the decision to come here very last minute, and everything went smoothly. Lisa was easy to work with the booking process and throughout our stay.
We both needed a quiet weekend away from the city and this place delivered!! I recently had a major surgery and the recovery process has been long and tough. This place was just what we both needed. We come up to the Poconos and Bushkill area often so we have our usual go to places, but Lisa provides lots of pamphlets on things to do and places to eat nearby. The bedrooms were comfy and there were extra pillows and blankets. We slept through the night like a log. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, spices, utensils used for cooking and eating. The wifi and roku TV were great. Even though it rained a little throughout the weekend, we still enjoyed sitting outside in front of the fire pit. There was an issue with using the washer but Lisa was wonderful about it and offered to come up to take a look at it. It wasn't a big deal for us and we truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again soon.
