About this house rental
Located in Badin Lake, this lovely house for $388 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. This home sits on a beautiful lake front lot on Badin Lake with a private covered pier that is perfect for boaters and fishers. With waterfront picnic table, and plenty of lake side seating, the family will not want to come inside. The fire pit area is perfect for s'mores and making memories. The main floor is like new, with beautifully remodeled upgrades throughout. With the master bedroom featuring a king bed and adjoining bathroom, wake up in the morning overlooking the water from your room. The master bedroom has a SmartTV. The guest bedroom (with a queen bed) includes a walk out door to the wrap around porch where you can drink your coffee while you enjoy the view from one of the several rocking chairs overlooking the lake. Walk downstairs for the kids quarters featuring a full kitchen and guest room with two twin beds and trundle beds, which sleeps 4! Downstairs is also a entertainment area for the kids with a big screen TV, arcade, and gaming system. There are two functional kitchens in the home (one upstairs and one downstairs). The upstairs kitchen comes stocked with all the utensils and cookware to enjoy dinner at home. With ovens, microwave, and built in dishwasher, you are certain to be comfortable on either floor. There is a charming dinette area off the kitchen with table that seats 8. There is internet and cable, so if you are inside, you are certain to stay entertained there too! There is a gaming system (Xbox systems and games) and PacMan arcade game for the kids (and adults). Enjoy the kayak, canoe, corn hole, and other entertainment options available for the entire family. Life vests are provided but are varying sizes. This is a no-smoking, no pet, no party property. There is a fee for extra guests. Any unregistered guest are subject to an additional charge. This is a great family getaway with a private pier and all the extras to make your family vacation amazing. PLEASE NOTE: Security cameras are installed around the exterior of the house for security reasons. Any tampering with the cameras will result in immediate removal from the premises and fines.

My family and I wanted to spend the Thanksgiving break playing in uwharrie on our toys and wanted a nice, clean and relaxing spot to spend time. House was just what we needed. Great views of the water, plenty of things to do at the house, close to the trails at uwharrie and everything and more than we needed for our stay. Lots of extra thoughts put into this vrbo by the owners made us put this on our list of places to return to!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Tammy’s lake house. The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The lake was fabulous and Tammy was able to recommend a boat rental which was an added bonus for our stay. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend the property to others!

We stay in a lot of rentals and this was by far the cleanest property we’ve ever stayed at. The hosts were very welcoming and responsive and it felt like a home. The views were exceptional, especially sunsets.

The Lakefront Getaway was everything we had hoped for and more! The house is beautifully decorated with special touches everywhere. It is very clean and comfortable. The view of the lake from the house is amazing and the sunsets are absolutely spectacular. It was so relaxing to sit in the rocking chairs on the deck and watch the gorgeous sunsets. The host was so responsive and easy to communicate with. You truly need to experience this lakefront home to understand how special it is. It is really a wonderful place and definitely the best vacation rental we've every rented. Many thanks to Tammy and Paul for opening up this special home for others to experience.

I would like to say that my family had the best vacation ever at this lake house.This house had everything any games kids wanted to play,they swam and fished all day long.We had to stay an extra night because we had so much fun.We definitely book again hopefully it will be for two weeks next trip. Love this place!!!!

Perfect Lake Getaway
This was the perfect place for our family to relax and enjoy time on the lake. Owners were great and quick to communicate. House was in great shape and looked newly remodeled. We loved the easy access to the main channel and a 10 min boat ride to Scallywags. We will be booking again!

Host is incredibly responsive. Very organized, clean, thorough, details attended to. Close to boat ramp. One of the best in terms of a well stocked kitchen for a rental we’ve seen. Very comfortable beds. No complaints. Highly recommend.

Very Comfortable Home - Amazing Hosts!
Our family completely enjoyed our stay. The Host family has gone out of their way to provide "little touches" that make staying easy and comfortable. The home is very neat, clean, well maintained, and "up to date" with fixtures and appliances that one would use in their own home - and everything worked ;-)
Communication when necessary was easy and the Host was very gracious.

Wonderful time with family for the week. The extra touches provided by the homeowners were icing on the cake. Our 6 year old granddaughter enjoyed the ‘Fubbles’ bubble fun outdoors in the grass!

I think this house has spoiled us forever -- it was by far the cleanest, most well-stocked house we've ever stayed in. I would definitely suggest hitting the grocery store before you get close to town, because there's not one super close by, but if you forget pretty much anything else you will find it neatly tucked away in a cute guest basket somewhere.
There were eight of us traveling together (4 adults, 4 kids), and the layout of the house was perfect since we could send the kids downstairs to play Pac-Man while the adults hung out upstairs on the deck. Outside, we loved having a small grassy area for the kids to play on, but most of our time was spent playing in the water or lounging on the dock. Highly recommend this house.

This was the 20th anniversary for me and my best friend coming to the Uwharrie area. Ironically, my best friend and I took our first trip on 9/11 when in college. The trip was planned back in 2001 - what happened that day changed the world forever. Despite the chaos, we decided to still take the trip and get away. Everything in Wilmington was closed due to the attack. We have been visiting Uwharrie ever since. This also was to celebrate me turning the big 40. My wife and best friend surprised me with a reunion at your VRBO. I was speechless, the place is amazing. I watched the video of the surprise 40 times last night. Your home is immaculate. Massive and wonderful in every single way. The house has everything, my daughter called it a mansion. The time we had this week and past weekend will be forever close in my heart as one of the most amazing trips I have ever taken. Not a single thing was out of place and the extras are endless! Thank you - We all loved your gorgeous home on the most beautiful lake in the Carolinas.

Could Not Have Been better!
We read all the excellent reviews prior to our week at the Lakefront Getaway and now add ours to the others. Everything was exceptional - the setting, the hospitality of the owners, the condition of the lake house/furnishings and all other amenities were excellent. And, last but not least the sunsets, which were truly spectacular. It was an enjoyable and memorable vacation. Sincere thanks to the Heaton family for sharing their beautiful lake front home with us. Our family hopes to return again.
