Located in Kerrville, this lovely condo for $125 per night is a great option for your next break. Circa 1924, this cozy cottage sits on the riverbanks of the beautiful Guadalupe River right downtown Kerrville, with immediate access to Kerrville's top attractions. Located right across the street from the Kerrville Nature Center, guests are steps away from the Kerrville River Trail, walking distance to top restaurants including Grape Juice, Thai Ocha, Francisco's, and Yeo Bo's, as well as several shopping boutiques, antique stores, and Pax Coffee & Goods. Spend the day kayaking, paddle-boarding, biking, fishing, swimming, or exploring Kerrville's parks, museums, and golf courses. Relax on the private riverfront, or take a short 30 minute drive to Fredericksburg, Comfort ("an antique town"), Bandera (the "Cowboy Capital of the World"), or Lost Maples State Park. This centralized location gives guests access to all that the Texas Hill Country has to offer! Please read the full PROPERTY DETAILS listed below. PROPERTY DETAILS: NO pets allowed WiFi & basic cable included (55" Smart TV with Roku) King Size Bed Towels & linens provided Shampoo & Conditioner only (Bring your own body wash) Shared detached utility room with washer and dryer. Detergent to be purchased by guest. ***This suite is one of three attached units on the property. Sunset is located closest to the road so there is some road noise during the day. Owner occupies one of the suites full-time. Inquire with owner to check availability of the other suites if you are in need of additional rooms/accommodations! We understand life happens, but we hold true to our cancellation policy. We advise guest to purchase travel insurance before their stay. My daughter and I loved our stay while in Kerrville. The cute little house was perfect for our needs. It has been beautifully updated and the grounds/amenities was an added bonus! The location was amazing as well. Loved our stay. (Not a problem for us, but there are about 5 steps to go up in order to enter the property.)

Super cute place! Comfortable bed. LOVED the provided bikes and kayaks! Across the water (and along a short dirt path out your backyard) is a beautiful island with a great paved path for walking or biking to a popular swim hole area! It is so close! We also kayaked to it! H-E-B is 2 blocks away and for a longer stroll you can walk to the downtown area! We did one evening. There is a nature center across the street and you are right on the river trail (the paved path mentioned above) that goes for miles to your right or left. We explored that one day. You can’t hear your neighbors at all through the walls and at night we can’t hear the traffic on the road. They offer a box fan as well for extra cooling or white noise. Thought the AC works great and you don’t need it. Nice, big shower with good water pressure and hot water. Owners give you a detailed email of everything included in the rental. There are 3 different, VERY nice sitting areas on the river, so plenty of room to have your own space with other renters next door. This is a fantastic place!

From the super comfortable bed, to the fire pit, to the water access, everything was so nice. We will definitely be staying here on our future trips to the hill country. Amazing. Perfect peaceful. Lots of deer and ducks. Pretty places to walk and bike ride. You can fish and kayak too with out leaving the parking lot

The property is well thought out and beautifully maintained. The location was perfect for us to explore Kerrville. We visited with friends and made use of the outdoor seating areas; taking in lovely view with our fine conversation. Loved the access to the River Trail and the restaurants within walking distance. Another visit is in the works for Sunset Cottage. Thank you for a great stay.

What a wonderful cottage! Very clean, private and inviting. The outdoor amenities were enjoyable. We had friends join us around the gas firepit on the deck for a very nice evening. The area by the river and wood firepit was relaxing. The bed was amazingly comfortable, especially after a long workday. We definitely recommend this beautiful cottage!

We had a lovely stay in the Sunset Suite! The location is excellent for getting down to the river, accessing spots in Kerrville, or making jaunts out to Fredericksburg and other parts of the hill country. The unit is well appointed and had everything we needed for a weekend trip. We loved the outdoor spaces and fire pits. It is next to a somewhat busy street so you can expect some road noise right on the front porch, but we didn't find this to be a bother at all. It's basically unnoticeable inside and just a few steps away on the patios. All in all a great weekend space.

This is a small VRBO that was just the perfect size for 2; we enjoyed kayaking and walking on the trail and the wildlife right out the back door.

We really enjoyed our short weekend stay. Kerrville is very charming and the property was cozy. The weather turned on us so we didn't get to take advantage of all the outdoor seating by the river, but the fireplace inside make up for our loss. Would most definitely recommend.

This place was great. The room was clean and the location was incredible. We walked everywhere we needed to go and spent a lot of time relaxing to get away of the hustle and bustle of the big city. Wonderful property.

The cabin was perfectly located near downtown and the entrance to the walking path and ev charging location (in the park across the street.
The cabin was well appointed, very clean and well stocked. Everything worked perfectly. We were thankful for the nest activated A/C and box fans (for sleeping and some early morning traffic noise).
The out door seating areas, fire pits and ability to kayak with direct access to the river were appreciated.
We would stay here again in the future.

Hidden Gem
Beautiful, peaceful cottage . Owners have done an excellent job remodeling this cottage overlooking the Guadalupe . Three different outside concrete sitting areas to watch the deer ,ducks and squirrels. Owners are awesome! We will be back!

Cute Little Bungalow Right on the River, Close to Downtown
Well kept and maintained cottage by the river. Clean. Had everything we needed including kayaks with life vests with easy river access. Great outdoor spaces with fire pits and great views of the river. Comfortable king-size bed, well-stocked kitchen, strong wi-fi. Short walk to downtown, HEB and nearby nature center. We were made aware of close proximity to busy road. Definitely need white noise or fan. Would recommend for a nice weekend getaway.

My wife and I spent 7 days in the Sunset Suite and had a wonderful time. The Suite was exceptionally clean and everything we needed was there. We actually cooked several meals in the kitchen (when we weren't going out for Mexican Food or BBQ) which had everything we needed. We really enjoyed sitting out by the firepit next to the river. There are plenty of deer, birds, and ducks passing by on a regular basis. We particularly enjoyed the three ducks (we named them the "Three Amigos") that stayed nearby when we were outside. There was a beaver who swam by in the evenings and there was always a turtle floating in the river nearby. We utilized the kayaks' numerous times and paddled up and down the river. If we weren't floating on the river, we were walking along the park path nearby. If that wasn't enough.......just sitting outside on the porch sipping a cold Lone Star Beer made things perfect. Our hosts were great and would check in every so often to see if we needed anything. The location is central to anywhere you might want to go in Kerrville as well as nearby towns in the Hill Country. We are already planning on coming back in the fall. This place is perfect.......and as my grandfather used to say....."You can't beat it with a stick!"
