Gemütliches Chalet an perfekter Lage

Perfekte Lage direkt bei der First Bahn. Gemütliches Chalet, gut ausgestattet und sehr gepflegt. Frühstück erstaunlich abwechslungsreich. Unglaublich tolles Personal die deinen Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich gestalten.

Great breakfast Pleasant staff Second shower room was spacious and comfortable. The other was very difficult to shower in. Extreme close proximity to cable car lift without noise interruptions 24/7 coffee Game/TV room

communication is key!

when i checked in, the staff at the counter was very welcoming. super convenient for those looking to go to grindelwald first. rooms were super cosy as well. gives off the japanese vibes.

for our breakfast the next day, my friend and I requested to have the takeaway version as we had to stick to our itinerary plan and had to leave early. upon realising that we did not have to leave early and that we could stay in the hotel for our breakfast, we decided to get some other food and drinks from their buffet spread but were impolitely told off by one of the staff that we need to pay for their breakfast because we already requested for their takeaway version. we did not pay eventually, after some negotiation which was nice of them. but we felt that the staff could have communicated in a better way, instead of talking to us so rudely and demanding that we have to pay for their breakfast.

ממש לא בית מלון! זה כמו בית הארחה!!! מאוד מאוד מיושן, מקלחת פצפונת עם ברז משונה שאי אפשר להבין אותו, אין טלויזיה, שטיח מקיר לקיר מיושן, יש 2 שקעים בסהכ בחדר, לא הייתי חוזרת איליו שוב. המחיר היה גבוה ביחס למה שקיבלנו. מאכזב מאוד!

Good location, clean and comfortable

Great location with comfortable beds. Our room felt a bit separated from the rest of the lodge which was great and allowed us to come and go as we pleased. The breakfast was basic, but still good and provided us with what we needed.

The lack of television in the room was a little bit frustrating when the weather wasn't very good.

It's very convenient for tourists who would like to visit Grindelwald First. The location just next to the entrance of the cable. The breakfast was good.

The plug base on the wall was a little bit too high.

Gorgeous stay at the foot of mountains

Beautiful lodge located at the foot of the mountains and First Bahn, my room was a good size, comfortable and clean with a view to the gardens. Had my own sink and therefore only had to share the toilet and shower - no queue. Breakfast was fantastic, good range and held in the dining room with views to the mountains. Staff was friendly.

I should have requested a first floor room as my ground floor room window had direct access to the outside - but this is on me and not the hotel - just something to consider when booking

Excellent customer service, and awesome facilities!

The staff is so polite, friendly, and very helpful. She is very commendable!

My heater was off during the night and just got back on in the morning. Nonetheless, I still was able to sleep OK though.
