Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen wieder!

DIREKT am Bahnhof Schanz, Bushaltestellen vor der Tür. Super nette Inhaber/in und Mitarbeiter, es ist auch immer jemand vor Ort und ansprechbar. Alle sehr hilfsbereit, alles wird möglich gemacht. Betten erstaunlich bequem! Küche gut ausgestattet - großer Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Geschirr sowieso. Komplette Mülltrennung. Der Waschraum mit Duschen oben ist neu und modern. Imbisse und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufig erreichbar, auch ein Netto, der bis Mitternacht aufhat.

Lagebedingt ist es nachts laut, durch Züge und Straßenverkehr. Wenn man nachts lüften will, also Oropax einpacken! WLAN funktioniert nur im Aufenthaltsraum/Küche. In der Küche wäre zum Energiesparen ein Wasserkocher schön. Wasser wurde im (offenen) Kochtopf erwärmt. Eine (obere) Matratze im Hochbett hatte unten Stockflecken, also schwarzen Schimmel. Sowas sollte ausgetauscht werden.

super warm people, super warm place.

The hosts are so welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. they let me use their bike and share their food so I can say they are people with good intentions. place was clean and comfortable. I felt home. would reccomend

cheap and cheerful

nice cheap hostel. very basic but everything you need and nothing more. nice friendly staff. the building could use some modernisation but I’m sure it wouldn’t be as cheap if they did that. very good shower too!

Value for money

Everything cleaned and organized.

The room was too warm because one of the guests put the heater on to max strength. It was unberable. It is not the hostel's fault, but something to have in mind.

Friendly staff, full equiped kitchen, clean toilets. Very reasonable price for what you get.

Great staff but low quality building

The staff was kind and welcoming

The bathroom was out of the room and it was quite uncomfortable to take off your clothes and go into the shower just with the bathrobe. The room was not so clean and had too many beds comparing to the space. Moreover, wi-fi didn't work neither with cellphone nor with PC (the staff helped me but the issue was not fixed).

Warm, friendly and clean!! Good energy

It is truly a very relaxed, clean, friendly environment. I feel the lounge/kitchen area was like being at home. Alot of access to all that you need for cooking. The staff are extremely friendly and likeable! Great quality of cleanliness of all areas. I felt like the location was very good too! The bed I stayed in was very comfortable too and the room had a very beautiful energy. Actually it was my second time staying at the hostel. First time, with friends.. then the second time was alone.. I feel as a lone, young travelling female, I felt safe enough to return to the hostel and be there. I recommend!!!

Super cosy traveller's hostel for a stopover in a rail transport hub

Beds and sleeping was super comfy. It's a pity I couldn't have stayed longer as it was great accommodation in a lovely area, but if I could I would. Hopefully next time.

Cheap, welcoming, comfortable, and well located

Well located hostel about 10 minutes walk from the city centre and 20 min walk from the train station. The staff were friendly and welcoming, as were the other guests. The hostel is well equipped and had everything I needed, and I would definitely stay again and recommend this hostel to others who want a cheap, comfortable and well located place to stay whilst exploring Aachen.

Near to train line. Couldn't sleep at night. Train passes in every hour. Too small room for 6 people.

Pleasant

Good choice for a very short stay in Munich. Honest price, rooms and beds were clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. The kitchen was well equipped and clean as well. The position of the hostel is perfect, very close to the city center and very easy to reach.

Services for the guests could be improved, in the bathrooms some soap containers were empty and just one normal size towel is provided.
