About this condo rental
Located in Kihei, this lovely condo for $320 per night is a great option for your next break. NOT IMPACTED BY THE FIRES. Our hearts are with the impacted families of the fires. Our condo is located over 20 miles from the impacted area. The photos are still the way it looks today. We are still renting, and you can still have the great hospitality of the community. Many businesses are anxious to have visitors on this side of the Island. Please observe and respect the desires of the impacted area when visiting. The unit has air conditioning throughout. Sitting directly on the beach, only 3 miles from Wailea, and 9 miles from the airport, you have a perfect location with lots of beaches, golf courses, shops, restaurants, snorkel, surfing, fishing, farmers markets, and activities nearby. Amenities include an oceanfront pool, (heated), 2 shuffleboards, gas barbecues Oceanside and on the rooftop with 360-degree views, ceiling fans for additional cooling, but rely on those great ocean breezes; plus, free parking and free fast WiFi. The couch has a pull-out Queen with memory foam mattress. Adjacent to the resort is the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary, along with the historical 16th Century Alii (Royal) Fishpond of Kalepolepo. Protected by offshore reefs, the pond provides a safe swimming area for children and those who prefer gentle surfing. No road to cross to get to the beach, It at your door step!

Mark's apartment is located in a superb location in Kihei, in a well-maintained and very convenient condominium. The flat was very clean, organized, and comfortable, with absolutely awesome views of both the pool and the beach. We spent so much time staring at the beach

Guest room lamp didn't work
Lights from the entryway outside were overly bright requiring us to cover the windows with a dark sheet which was an easy fix
Overall, the property owner took care of us for our troubles. Not having a pool for the week was a bummer but, focusing on the good, this is an excellent property in an excellent location.
*of note - the winds from 1ish pm to 6ish pm are quite overwhelming and you're not able to be on the beach due to serious blowing sand. Check the weather before booking.

First rate unit! Very clean and organized. Has everything you can possibly think of to enjoy your vacation. Location is fantastic, close to great restaurants, starting point Road to Hana, and about 30 minutes to Lahaina, 20 min to airport. Truly a hassle free stay! Thank you Mark.

The property was beautiful, and exactly as described. The kitchen had anything you would ever possibly need, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, the lanai and the pool were fantastic. And that VIEW! The location was perfect for exploring the island, and close to restaurants and grocery stores. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay there!

The condo is beautiful and was perfect for our stay. Gorgeous views and a good location. The only small problem we had was the owner stopped communicating with me after we got there. There was no detergent so he told me that I would be reimbursed for buying some but I have not been. He did not respond to my questions about that or about where to find sheets for the sofa bed. Overall a great stay.

This property was as advertised and more! We were so impressed with cleanliness of our unit and the complex as a whole! The unit was very well stocked with towels, umbrellas, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, a cooler, beach toys and plenty of kitchen supplies. Air conditioning was a huge bonus! The view… wow! Thank you Mark! We had a fantastic vacation and will be back!

Perfect location right on the beach with a pool and little cove to swim in the ocean without dealing with the waves (perfect for little kids). The restaurant located on the property was delicious and convenient. Everything was great.

There was a slight issue upon arrival with the room being ready but it was a communication issue more than anything. After our original booking I added a extra night coming in a day earlier and that wasn’t passed along to the cleaning crew. The next morning she was there and had everything straightened up and Mark took care of us for the confusion.
This rental had everything required for a week long stay. All the kitchen appliances, entertainment for the evenings and toys and beach stuff for the adults and kids.
Mark was super easy to deal with and I will definitely be telling people about this rental!
Besides the great view from the balcony being
able to listen to the waves at bedtime and first thing in the morning is something I have never experienced but now I want to do so as much as possible:)

The listing was on spot with reality. You could see the sea turtles every day from the balcony. The ocean is just a few flights of stairs away. There is plenty to see and do within a few miles of the complex. The restaurant on-site was delicious (if you enjoy Indian food). There are plenty of towels and quite a few beach supplies available for your enjoyment.

One of our family members is disabled and the elevators worked well .Only wrinkle was inadequate number of disabled parking spaces, many of which were off limits to us and there was one only available for 20 minutes loading, which I had never seen before.

Communication was great and check-in was simple. The location of the property was perfect a nice central location in Maui. Condo was well stocked, had two beach chairs, two boogie boards and a cooler which was really helpful. Beds were super comfortable and we loved sitting on the balcony in the evening to watch the sunset and enjoy the ocean breeze.

The condo property grounds and amenities were above average with beach access and location to Kehei shops and restaurants excellent, the saving grace to the condition of the below average unit condition.
The units floors were dirty, evidently not cleaned for a long period of time. The area rugs throughout were dirty with stains. The inner liner of the shower curtains have not been cleaned / replaced - very dirty with soap scum and yellowed. The lanai is not usable due to the A/C condensor unit being located on the lanai, unless of course the A/C units are not turned on in the unit. On the day of check out, the cleaning service entered the unit without knocking at 10:40 AM, 20 minutes prior to mandatory check out at 11:00. The garbage disposal did not work and was jammed up with food which we cleaned out and made in working order for our use. If you're willing to tolerate dirty floors and some work while on vacation this unit is for you.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this unit! Perfect amount of space for two couples and an absolutely stunning view! Lots of beach supplies were provided which was very thoughtful. Having a parking space to use was super handy!

The location was great to discover Maui,
It was really close to some nice beaches; but also a great base for the road to Hana and to drive to mount Haleakala for the sunrise.
The appartment and the pool were also really with some restaurants and supermarket close by.

My family and I had a great time. The condo is lovely. I would absolutely come back. The lagoon is a great place for my kids to swim. We love all the turtles.

The condo is awesome-AC units in the bedrooms and living room which worked great, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and coolers to use, in unit washer and dryer, steps to the pool and beach, great roof top deck with grills and easy free parking in the lot. Location is very good as well close to local restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again when we come back to Maui!

Best view in Maui
We had a great stay in this Maui condo! The only hiccup was a late check in while it was being cleaned. Despite that, no complaints. We enjoyed the fish pond beach (with daily turtle sightings!), the pool, grill, and extras (chairs, umbrella, toys) available. Very clean and great location. Would definitely stay again!

Kihei condo for family
This was the perfect condo for us. Great location. My two daughters (ages 10 and 11) LOVED the fact that they got their own twin bed. Plenty of amenities in the kitchen. Great pool. Gorgeous view from balcony. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Another Relaxing Stay
We always come back to Mark's Menehune Shores condo for its location, amenities, and that lovely view. The living room TV is new; bring your passwords for your streaming accounts. This time we noted several cabinet and closet doors not closing/sealing as they should but they're nothing a handyman can't easily fix. Also, occasional deep cleanings will help keep this condo in its usual tip-top shape. We had no communication with the property manager, only with Mark (owner) and he's always great to work with. Thanks again!
