We were only on Ile de Re for a short time so this property was ideally located for our needs. Its just a little walk through cobbled streets to the Harbour with many options for food & drink which was our reason for booking the property. There were only four of us and a baby but I think the house sleeps 8 in total. The house was as described, with four bedrooms, 3 of which have their own ensuite facilities (downstairs bedroom has its bathroom next door). Rooms were of average size, as to be expected in this style of city centre accommodation with a comfortable spacious lounge area. Kitchen was fully furnished for cooking. There also a small back yard with a table and chairs. The house is in a quiet residential location. As with many French town centres parking can often be an issue. The house has a little parking which is adequate one saloon size vehicle or perhaps 2 small cars but it is secure and enclosed in the properties back yard. There is parking available very close outside the property however it is paid for and If you've never been to Il de Re before make sure you are aware that it can become expensive if multiple days of overnight parking are required. Communication with the owners was good so im sure they'll be more than happy to help if you have questions. Supermarkets, petrol etc are just a short drive to the outskirts of town around a 1-2km away and could even be walked to if you wished. For those travelling with pets there is also a good vet just en route to the shops. (Basically along the road from Le Clerc).

It was very well located, close to the lively centre of town yet far enough to remain calm and serene. The kitchen was well equipped and we had fun cooking during our stay. Overall a very charming property.

Absolutely everything. Location was perfect - close to harbour yet quiet & private. The best equipped rental I have ever stayed in & house is so pretty. Great kitchen to cook in and lovely family meals to enjoy in either the lovely dining room or the charming outside courtyard. Everything done by owners & housekeeping staff to make our stay the most wonderful holiday. Thank you

The house was fantastic, facilities were wonderful. Bedrooms bright and airy and beds really comfortable The decor throughout the house was beautiful The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, very well stocked. The fridge and cooker were first class.The garden was perfect a little oasis to chill out and have a glass of wine
