Unique 1925 home located in the historic Morton Meadows neighborhood of Midtown Omaha. Our comfortable, cozy house features plenty of room to relax, with original hardwood floors, and 13-foot, exposed wood living room ceiling. The Spanish/mission revival style is highlighted by a unique floor-to-ceiling fireplace. You will feel right at home. 2 bedrooms and a bath on the main floor, plus a lower level futon with it's own Roku TV and half bath for the younger ones. Ample dining and living rooms make it perfect for couples, professionals, and families. Hang out in the spacious backyard with a new gas grill and outdoor seating for spring, summer, and fall enjoyment or have your morning coffee on the front porch in tree-lined tranquility. This safe, upscale neighborhood is a short distance from the Blackstone District and Midtown Crossing shops, restaurants, and outdoor spaces. Only 10 minutes to downtown and the Old Market. The neighborhood is home to the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and the nearby entertainment and dining offerings of Aksarben Village. Just minutes from Baxter Arena to the west and Creighton University to the east. The individual booking the property MUST be a guest during the entire stay. Booking for guests other than yourself is not permitted. Stays of more than two weeks must be approved in advance.

We had a really great time at this nice and interesting home. It was fun looking at all the unique features. The neighborhood was really nice and close to downtown and to Offutt AFB. Communication with Mary started immediately as I asked questions before booking, as time got close and throughout our stay. She is super nice!! We would definitely stay here again.

The house was very clean and well stocked. The water pressure in the shower was good but the shower head is low. If you’re very tall you won’t be able to stand under it. The owner checked in with us during our stay so I felt they would be responsive if we had an issue. The location was convenient to the activities we had planned. Would stay again if we return to Omaha.

This was the PERFECT location for all things OMAHA! The neighborhood is a bonus, just driving around looking at all the vintage unique houses was a pleasure and the inside of the home itself was gorgeous. We couldn't have asked for a better stay, better location, better neighborhood or better communication.

My college roommate and I spent three nights here. The house is great. It is in a quiet neighborhood that is close to pretty much everything in central and downtown Omaha. The best part about the experience was dealing with Mary who co-owns with her sister. If I had an issue, I texted. She texted to check on us and ask if we needed anything on an almost daily basis. The only “problem” was when neither he nor I could figure out the Roku TV. Not the tv or owners fault. We are both 59 and not great with stuff like that. Mary was gracious at every turn and made us feel welcome. I do not believe you can go wrong with this house!

We were in town for a couple appointments Rather than driving back and forth this was the perfect location. Close to the VA and in a quiet neighborhood. Owners were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed.

Beautiful quiet neighborhood. Easy access to zoo, old tiwne market and other sites of interest. House was very clean. The hosts were very helpful and communicated everything we needed to know and were quick and gracious to answer any questions or concerns. Would go here again.

This property is an amazing stand out of Italian design. One of my friends is from Greece and pointed out some of the Italian influence besides the obvious architecture. The neighbors are quiet and friendly. Perfect location for access to many places, but secluded enough to be an oasis in the city. The property owners were dreams to work with. Expectations were clearly laid out and not complicated. Mary would text occasionally to ensure all is well with us and if anything was needed. Would definitely use again! BTW pay close attention to all of the hidden gems that make this house a home, starting with the doorknob.
