The house is old and a bit scuffed up but completely wonderful and charming. Such an amazing location, perfect for a family or group of friends. There is nothing fancy about this house and yet it is perfect.

This house really is a private retreat. Beautiful beach with no hotels, condos, or construction around - so rare nowadays. We did not see anyone else on the beach in front of the house the whole time we were there. On the calm evenings when the tide was rising, we experienced bonefish swimming right up to us by the shoreline. We were lucky enough to be there for the full moon and got to see the moon rise over water every evening. Incredible! Marc the property manager is totally switch on and the house was spotless. This house is ideal for families and groups of friends who want to experience a really authentic island experience without the hassles of owning a house.

This place has so much potential, but it was pretty filthy. We've lived in Turks and Caicos and have done a lot of travelling through the Caribbean and other rural/rustic areas with high humidity (Costa Rica/Panama), so have reasonable expectations about what you're going to get on an island. There are just some serious housekeeping/maintenance issues with this place. And the caretaker for the property was really rude and unhelpful when we called her about issues. This seems like it could be the perfect set up for a big group of friends doing a dive trip--it really does sleep 12, but in some strange bedroom configurations. The set up in most of the bedrooms is a little strange, if you're not in to bunking up. There's a 'Green Egg' style grill, which was perfect for cooking our catch from a fishing trip one day. You'll need a rental car--this isn't really a walking/biking island. We incorrectly assumed that since bikes were available on the property that it would be a good way to get around. The bike tires were all flat, but we managed to get a couple in working order by swapping out wheels.
