Come and stay in your own Private Chalet ! The city of Sky Valley has changed our address to: 248 Bayberry Lane. If you see Red Wolf Trail, anywhere in this listing, please disregard. High atop Red Wolf Mountain this large home offers spectacular panoramic views from every room, floor to ceiling stone fireplace, volume wood ceilings, lodge appointments and for entertaining ease, a player grand piano! The gourmet kitchen is complete, with eat in counter bar which flows into a dining room with sweeping views. This entire level opens to a deck surround perfect for dining, relaxing and entertaining with altitude! Upstairs, situated on opposing ends of the chalet, your family and guests will enjoy their own private space with ensuite baths and more great views. An office overlooks the great room and is equipped if you must “stay connected” to home/business life. The lower level includes another bedroom and full bath. Start your day in the fitness room, play a round of pool in the billiards room, then end your day in the theater room binge watching your favorite series or flick from the movie library. Immerse yourself in the resort living that Sky Valley offers. The 18-hole championship golf course is nestled in a gorgeous valley amongst the hardwood forest, mountains and waterfalls . My husband and I spent our wedding night in this magical mountain oasis! The views are the best in Sky Valley and our entire experience in this beautiful home was a dream. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the hosts. We cannot wait to come back! Maybe for our first anniversary?!? ;)

The house was good. Dirty freezer, walls, and carpet. It rained the 1st day and night we were there, so we saw some leaks. I had read a review about the house being "loud" and it was. When the house was quiet, we heard all the wood settling so it sounded like someone was always walking upstairs. Other than that, great place to disconnect, with beautiful views.

I AM in Gratitude to be able to bring in the New Year in such a Lovely space! Every detail pf this mountain home was amazing. I’m a country girl so I loved it all. That tub in the Master was my Highlight along with the amazing view. It rained all day Saturday, but the kids had plenty to do. Games galore. Plenty of space. Colleen gives you more than enough information on everything you need to have a Great stay. We made vision boards, went to Highland Post and Horseback riding. A Amazing time was had! Lol! Thank You! Thank You!!

My sisters and I had a wonderful trip to Sky Valley and our accommodations far exceeded our expectations! Beautiful home with an even better view. There’s nothing like spending time with family and making memories.. in a lovely home that provided just what we needed to relax and enjoy the beauty of our surroundings!

My siblings, their spouses and I, all went in together to take our 87 year old sweet Mama to the mountains, where she used to take us as kids. We all had a wonderful time, sitting on the porch, riding the mountain roads, visiting old sites and reminiscing.
It was perfect with the master bedroom on the main floor so our Mama did not have to worry with any stairs.
The internet was iffy, but that was fine with us. That was just more time to visit and play games.

Second year in a row staying at this house in Sky Valley. Property is great, views from the deck are awesome. Everything needed for the stay is in the house. We had a family gathering and this place exceeded our expectations. The view is awesome but the house is even more spectacular. This house has something for everyone including a movie room, exercise room, game room, Gathering Room and outside decks with fabulous views.

Game room trashed. Pool cues bad. Half the light bulbs burned out. Cheap tables and bar. Pool table with multiple scratches and excessive wear.
Great Room had filthy floor and rugs with dirt underneath the edges. Sliding door would not lock on right porch.
Dining room had only 4 chairs with minimal stuffing and uncomfortable. Found food crumbs in the seats. Upper left gas stove eyes would not light. Outdoor Grill would not heat enough to cook meat as burners worn out. Grates filthy. Handle loose on the refrigerator door. Faucet sprayer broken , cannot change spray mode to steady stream. Underneath cabinet lights mostly burned out. Dirty microwave. Oven door a mess. Return air vent under stairs dirty and bent. Apparently no filter. Multiple light bulbs out in bathroom, downstair hallway, chandeliers, over bathroom sinks, theater room, gym, etc. One upstairs toilet running (leaking)when we arrived.
Rain spout gutter broken and dropped on ground below.
TV in master removed (apparently broken in a closet) with cheap picture sitting on ledge instead. Lots of music speakers not connected to TV or amps such that you could not enjoy music though out the house although volume controls everywhere. Amplifiers locked in owners closet.
Drainage issues along driveway with half completed drainage tubes coiled up and dirt piled on edge of driveway limiting turning around space. Severely steep driveway access up from Red Wolf necessitating passing by neighbors house very close to fence and rocks piled there. to exit along his gravel rode to an upper road above Red Wolf trail.
The view was nice but costly and disappointing.

Colleen was an incredible host! I communicated with her multiple times throughout our stay and she responded immediately!
The property was perfect for our group of 12 golfers. Location was 5 minutes from the course. Would definitely recommend!

My family spent Christmas here and we made memories to last a lifetime! The home is fabulous with 3 levels, gorgeous views and every amenity you could ask for. The game rooms on the lower level were great for our young adults. They also enjoyed seeing the waterfalls, hiking, snowboarding and riding horses. On Christmas Eve, it started snowing as we stood around the piano singing "Go Tell It On The Mountain!" The only problem was that the road was frozen the next day and we were unable to get down the mountain to go shopping. Even that didn't ruin our fun as we tried to figure out what to do. Colleen was always available to answer our questions. I highly recommend this house and hope one day we will
be able to go back.

Fun Trip, Beautiful area !
House is huge, nice, clean and comfortable inside. The area is beautiful and the view from the deck is wonderful and we all enjoyed the pool table and media room. Property and home are a bit worn /dated and could use some maintenance but we really had a great time there.

Restful Haven
My family, 3 teens and my husband, just returned from a much needed relaxing weekend in Sky Valley. This home is quite the stunner.. It is so much larger than what you see in the photos but still cozy and warm. Three floors with bedrooms on each allowed us to have restful privacy when wanted. The media room in the lower level was a great place to come together and playing pool was the kids favorite part.
The views were stunning even with the rain and fog
My only complaints and they are not big deals at all is that the internet was very slow (but that is expected in the mountains) and it is very dark at night, they could use better lighting.. Oh and the super scary driveway!!! Not bad coming in but going down terrified me, my kids and hubs loved it though:)
All in all its a great comfortable house, beautiful views and Colleen was quick to answer questions and get me needed information.. Would def rent again.

Have been visiting Sky Valley going on 4th season. This rental had the most fabulous views of all homes and numerous floor levels to enjoy them. Enjoyed all the artistic flare and unique furnishings. Great stay in Sky Valley, GA
House was incredible. View from the deck was awesome, plenty of space and well equipped. Location allowed for dinners in Highlands, NC or Dillard/Clayton, GA. Sky Valley had a golf course, pool, tennis available. Plenty of hiking in NC and GA trails.
