Located in Burlington, this lovely house for $195 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. The Guest House also known as Dubuque Lane Guest House is located in a historic neighborhood in the woolen mill district overlooking the Winooski River in Burlington, Vermont. The guest house is newly renovated and furnished with original art. Enjoy a view of the flower gardens from the back deck and the Winooski River from the front windows. The guest house has a an open studio layout with a kitchen, spacious living room and dining area, queen size bed, a sofa that converts into a full size inflatable bed if needed, bathroom and private entrance, Wi-Fi, gardens and more. As we find ourselves in the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic we have some new protocols to share that have been mandated by the governor of Vermont. Since each state has its own set of rules I thought I would let you know as of June 2021 the vaccination rate in Vermont is 80%! Travel no longer requires testing or quarantine. The state recommends that unvaccinated folks continue to wear mask indoors. For all the updated travel information see the accd.vermont web-site. Although we have always maintained a high standard of cleaning we have enhanced our cleaning to ensure the safety of all. We will also maintain social distancing by providing a self-check-in process. Dubuque Lane Guest House is located on Mill Street in Burlington just across the river bridge from Winooski and a mile and a half from downtown. We are within walking distance of restaurants and nightlife, the University of Vermont, St Michael's College and University of Vermont Medical Center. One mile from the airport and beautiful Lake Champlain. Thirty- five miles from the most spectacular skiing on the east coast. A short hour and a half drive to Montreal Canada. I can’t even tell you how much we enjoyed our stay! It was the absolute perfect location within walking distance to fabulous restaurants, and very unique shops and nearby nature and bike trails. There was a beautiful view of the gardens on one side, and the flowing river on the other. Megan greeted us, and the property was the perfect combination of comfort and authentic style. The fresh fruit, local milk, yogurt and cider added a special local touch and my favorite—fresh flowers! I could go on and on but anything I would say is not enough—it was Perfect! Be sure and try the nearby restaurants across the river—some of the best food we have ever had! And the shopping and breweries on church street was also a highlight. Be sure and check out the Lake Champlain Bike Trail.

This was one of the best stays at a VRBO property we have ever had! The place was clean, nicely furnished and decorated and they provided lots of extras like fresh fruit, flowers, yogurt granola juice coffee tea. We felt right at home and Greg and Jennifer were wonderful hosts. Honestly it was hard to leave. A little slice of heaven.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the Winooski River. The artwork in the guest house was interesting and beautiful! We enjoyed the proximity to Burlington as well as the information book providing local restaurants, etc. There was fresh fruit, juice, yogurt, milk and granola, all locally sourced. A very nice surprise! The only complaint that we had was the significant amount of road and airplane noise. We don't remember reading that in any reviews. This was mostly during the day and not late at night. Knowing that, we would still stay there in the future. Perfect for a couple!

Jennifer and Greg were the perfect hosts. We were in Burlington for the weekend to run the marathon and they had fresh fruit, yogurt, milk and granola waiting for us! The place was adorable and comfortable for the three of us. Cute area by the river and walkable to everything. Our first time to Vermont, but definitely not our last!

My friend and I had such a great time staying here — it’s one of the rare stays that is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. Everything was spotless, Jennifer was very helpful with questions about excursions in Burlington, and we loved the location.

Our stay was nothing short of lovely. Jennifer and Gregg were so kind as to put out snacks such as granola, coffee, and fruit during our stay. My sister and I were so grateful for how prime the location was to city of Burlington, yet how quaint and quiet it was at night. We are so thankful and would definitely recommend staying here!

We loved this pristine apartment, with its contemporary art, books, and touches like local granola, organic milk for the french press, and coffee provided by the host. We also enjoyed exploring the restaurants and bars in this town, which is close to Burlington.

This place perfect for our anniversary trip to Vermont! The place was so nice with many food choices close by. You can either walk just across the bridge or drive 5 minutes to Church Street Market area. The amenities available to us were so nice. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is thinking of staying in the area!!

My mom and I visited over the holidays and Jennifer and Gregg were so lovely and friendly! The guest house had little snacks, fruit and juice waiting for us and it was very clean! There was a lot of amazing art on the walls too and the location of the property was close to all of the places we wanted to visit! I highly recommend!!

Terrific Location on the River
This is a great location within walking distance of downtown Winooski VT with variety of dining venues, specialty shops, groceries, and nature/urban walking trails. A short drive to the tourist sites in downtown Burlington and its surroundings. A real gem!

Vermont Paradise
If you are looking for the BEST place to stay in Vermont, look no further. This property is an absolute gem!
Starting with the property itself, the guest house is incredibly clean, well thought out, and wonderfully organized. The kitchen had all of the amenities including fresh fruit, milk, granola, yogurt, and numerous other delectables upon arrival. The bed is extremely comfortable, the linens all very soft and sparkling white, and the bathroom shower had wonderful water pressure. There are comfy chairs and a couch for lounging, lots of good reading material, and a great deck with Adirondack chairs for a quiet retreat overlooking the garden.
The location of the property is perfect for foodies. We were able to walk to dinner every night with no less than 10-15 restaurants to choose from. Additionally, there are beautiful falls right across the street with great walking paths in both directions. The guest house is also just a two mile drive from downtown Burlington and a half-mile walk from the UVM campus.
Finally, the hosts, Jennifer and Gregg couldn’t have been more accommodating. They casually checked in as we were coming and going to make sure we had everything we needed. They also were able to offer up lots of suggestions for places to go snd things to see. They were very welcoming and gracious. You will not find a better set of hosts or property in Vermont. We love the Dubuque Lane Guest House!!!!

Not only is this apartment a perfect launching place for all things Burlington, its location across the river from the Winooski circle provides a quick walk to small shops, restaurants, and even a wonderful walking trail. Greg and Jennifer are the perfect hosts as they know so much about the area and are the most delightful couple that tended to both the space and the experience in ways that made us feel right at home. If we didn't have to get back to our normal lives, I'm not sure we would have left. : )

Best Rental Ever
This is the cutest apartment in Burlington! Every little detail has been cared for. Sparkling clean. Interesting, fun art work around every corner.
Great location across the street from the Winooski river. Walking distance to town. Riverwalk across the bridge. We even walked to Church street and the waterfront. Quite neighborhood.
There was no clutter. The kitchen was well appointed with the necessities. Every inch of the apartment was spotless. We had a great weekend there. Perfect size for up to 4 adults. Will stay here again for sure.
