Baywatch 2 The location of this modern three-bedroom apartment is ideal for that summer beachside holiday with the children or friends. Perfectly positioned on the foreshores of 1770 bay, stroll across the road & your children will be entertained in the shady park - here you will find a playground, free BBQs & picnic seating. The park looks upon the waters of 1770 bay take a swim in the calm waters, hire a kayak or sup board, or perhaps a spot of fishing is your thing. 1770 offers something for everyone & the sunsets over the water are Amazing. Spend the early evenings watching the sunset whilst enjoying dinner & a drink at the famous Tree Bar restaurant or across from Baywatch is the caravan park restaurant perfect for families. Baywatch 2 is conveniently situated close to the 1770 Marina to launch the boat or to hire a tinny for the day plus a departure point for Great Barrier Reef day tours & the Larc for sunset or day tours to Bustard Bay Lighthouse. The 2nd apartment in the Baywatch 3-unit complex is a beautiful & modern furnished three-bedroom apartment sleeping up to six people. Baywatch apartment 2 offers better privacy & is situated behind apartment 1 under number 3. The apartment offers filtered views. Car parking is for one (1) vehicle only in the correctly defined parking place. No boats or trailers. 2 Queens & 2 Single beds Ensuite & bathroom with bath Fully self-contained kitchen with large fridge freezer & dishwasher Lounge, TV, DVD player Full laundry washer & dryer Air conditioned Patio with seating & Gas BBQ 1 outside car parking bay (garage not included) please be aware when entering the driveway - it is best at an angle not straight on - as some low vehicles may bottom. Linen supplied just bring the beach towels Car parking is for one (1) vehicle only in the correctly defined parking place. No boats or trailers. Wifi - Streaming for TV only, no other other devices.

No wifi, view blocked by front unit, hectic driveway to get up nearly bottomed out the car. Otherwise - the unit layout was great, the area around was great, very comfortable

Baywatch 2 is superbly located just across the road from the beach and a playground. The unit was very well appointed and felt like a home away from home. Comfortable beds, a great patio and most of what you could want in the kitchen for an extended stay.
As other reviewers have mentioned, mind that you take the driveway at an angle.

Overall, this was a great apartment for our 5 night stay at 1770. Perfect location and size for a family of 4. A couple of points to note: Although the apartment is self contained, there is no external clothes line and no internal/portable clothes hanger in the apartment. This makes it tricky to dry swimmers, rashies, wet-shirts etc. as these can't be placed in the dryer. Also, watch the driveway - it's steep and needs to be tackled on an angle or you'll bottom out. Overall though - great place!

Location was great and it was a well equipped unit. The driveway leading to the parking is an absolute nightmare. Lots of people damaging the undersides of their cars and boats. You can see scrapes all over the driveway. We ended up getting everyone to wait down the bottom and reversing out at an angle to avoid damage to our vehicle as we scraped pretty bad on the way in.

This property gave us everything we needed as a family. It was a home away from home, on the beach, allowing us to do as little or as much as we wanted. Great facilities and great location.

Location of this place was fantastic. Cleanliness was ok - there were some dirty dishes in the cupboards and handprints on the bedroom door and doorframes around the home. The images make the property look much nicer than it actually is, and the view is very limited in house number 2. There was also a bond needed which we didn't know about till the agent send an email so this was inconvenient. For the price of the stay, there should have been some more things available eg toilet paper, dishwasher tablets etc The driveway is terrible! You can only turn in on an angle coming up the road with the house on the right otherwise the car bottoms out and you can't get up the drive - this was also not advised when we collected the keys and we almost got the car stuck on the driveway.

Location is very convenient. It is just across the road from the beach, park and caravan park, and a short walk to the cafe's and restaurants.
