About this apartment rental
My Dunes Club's unit is a three-bedroom, beautifully furnished, first floor, beachfront condominium unit. This serene property is located on the Gulf of Mexico on Cape San Blas, a large hook of land jutting out from the mainland near Port Saint Joe, Florida. Dunes Club has a swimming pool, boat and trailer storage, beach boardwalk, elevator, high speed wireless internet, and free long distance phone calling. The unit has a large deck facing out to the Gulf of Mexico. The view is also readily available through the living room and master bedroom sliding glass doors. Colorful wooden rockers, dining table seating 6, and electric grill are available on the deck. There is a stairway from the deck to the ground just a few feet from the swimming pool. A boardwalk leads straight to the beach where you find few other people, if any.
Pelicans and gulls fly overhead fishing and dolphins may be seen in the water. Fishing can be done from the beach with a valid fishing license. The surf is typically gentle. This area is one of peace, quiet, and tranquillity. One can walk the beach, pick up shells, or swim. Children can run and play, swim, and build sand castles.
The front of our Dunes Club unit has an additional large deck with stairs to the ground and the other two floors above. Adirondack chairs and a small table are provided. The elevator and rolling carts from the ground level parking area makes moving in and out easy as well as transporting groceries.
The unit is spacious, with luxury leather sofas with 5 recliners, and includes all necessary amenities. The master bedroom features a huge king-size bed which could easily sleep three persons. It has an adjacent master bathroom with bath tub and shower. The second bedroom has a full-size bed plus a single bed with an adjacent bathroom which also is accessible from the main hallway. The third bedroom is small, colorful and has a set of bunk beds and small mounted TV. The master bedroom has a flat screen television on the wall. The second master also has a wall mounted-swivel television. There is a large laundry room which provides extra storage area.

We enjoyed our weeklong stay at this condo. It was clean, comfortable, and very spacious. The kitchen was well stocked. The beach was wonderful in spite of there being a red flag every day but one. (rip tides). The owner provided lots of books to read. The balcony/porch was the largest we have every rented and it has a big table to eat outside. The elevator and large carts made moving in and out a breeze. The covered parking was nice to keep the car cool. The pool was nice with bathrooms and showers nearby. The boardwalk to the beach was very long and followed by a walk through the dunes, but this protected the dunes. So, we appreciated it, but it might be an issue for someone with mobility issues. The only suggestions are that there should be more than one key, and the electric outlet for the electric grill did not work. However, we would definitely rent this unit again.

The condo is wonderful! Lots of great artwork to enjoy! Leather reclining sofas and chairs are comfortable and inviting. Mattresses are top quality and linens are good! Only around /- 800 feet to the beach. We had a wonderful time!
