EXPERIENCE A RESTORATION Lafayette Flats Boutique Vacation Rentals: Four modern vacation rentals in one historic building. The unique lofts are located on the upper two floors of a 100-year-old cut-stone building. The interior of the building has been lovingly renovated with new electrical, plumbing, and individual heating/cooling systems, but retains much of the original architectural detail and charm. This listing is for Flat #4, Eddy. It is located on the third floor. You will travel up two large art-filled stairwells (42 steps) to reach your beautiful flat. Please note: there is no elevator in this historic building. Eddy is designed for a couple. There is a queen-size bed in the bedroom. All four of our flats are designed for couples. ENJOY LUXURIOUS ATTENTION TO DETAIL Eddy is a modern spacious apartment with unique design elements and original local art. The fully equipped kitchen is stocked with Fiestaware and gourmet coffee service. Relax after an adventurous day in the luxurious tiled shower and then cozy up to the 42" HD LED TV before drifting off to sleep in the queen size bed covered in high-quality linens. You will find William Roam toiletries for your convenience. MAKE THE MOST OF THE IDEAL LOCATION Park your car and relax. We really enjoyed our stay at Lafayette Flats. Everything was perfect. The apartment was so nice and clean and comfortable. Communication and instructions for check-in were thorough. We enjoyed the artistic vibe throughout the building. We had everything we needed and the furniture and bed were comfortable. Having such a nice place to stay really made our getaway a fun trip. Thank you!

The flat was immaculate and exactly as described. The town is cute and the flat is within walking distance of several local eateries. Very close to the park and outdoor activities. Communication with the proprietor was easy and they provide good tips and resources for the area, including an especially good reference on area hikes. Highly recommend the Eddy as a base for your getaway in this beautiful region. If we visit again we’d stay here again without question!

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at the Lafayette Flats. The apartment is clean and the host makes sure you are comfortable. Perfect for one or two people. The location is great because you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. I enjoyed walking to the park and adjoining trails each morning.

We stayed at the Lafayette flats as a base for rock climbing at the New. Was great in every way - walking to restaurants and across the street from the local climbing shop! The flats are beautifully decorated, comfortable and quiet. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

We stayed in the Eddy! What a beautiful, clean and comfortable place to relax after a day of hiking. The art work is lovely and we enjoyed reading about each piece. We have stayed in a lot of Vrbo’s and this is definitely the top one. Thanks to our wonderful hosts.

Fabulous Property
Lafayette Flats, Eddy was amazing! Everything about it was perfect, the building, the location & most of all the hot shower & comfortable bed after a long day of hiking & exploring. It was well stocked with everything & anything we needed and the property owners were great.

This flat and the building are gorgeous. It’s a historic building that was beautifully renovated by the owners. Artwork greets you from the moment you step in and accompanies your walk up the stairs to your flat. Our flat was on the 3rd floor. It was stylish, artsy and simply beautiful. I loved it! If you are looking to be wowed stay in this flat. You will have to walk up 2 flights of stairs but that would not deter me. I would not hesitate to stay here again. In fact I’d only return to the area if I could stay here.
The apartment was sparkling clean with very thoughtful touches. You can tell that the owners really care about making sure their guests have everything they might need in a short term rental. Paintings adorn every wall giving you interesting scenes to admire, it’s like staying in a museum.
Necessary cookware is available. I cooked most of my meals as I was on a diet. We enjoyed walking around town too. The area felt very safe. We walked to Pies and Pints and had a lovely dinner one evening.
My husband and I appreciated the opportunity to stay here. Highly recommend!

The Eddy flat was exactly as pictured online. Rooms are large and roomy. Spotless. Modern technology (HDMI cord for connecting laptop to TV, Bluetooth speaker, DVD player, phone recharging hub on night stand). Lots of electric outlets. The shower has two nooks for soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The two shower heads (one fixed and one handheld) had a great spray. Four large towels and four wash cloths are provided, but you can ask for more if needed. Kitchen offers a toaster, microwave, oven, and refrigerator.
The Eddy exceeded our expectations, and the owners are attentive. We will definitely return when back in the area.

This place is adorable. I stayed here Labor Day Weekend of 2020 and 2021. It is within walking distance to many places, in downtown Fayetteville, and driving distance to a lot of activities. I hope to be back next year!

Best Spot for a New River Gorge Vcation
Lafayette Flats is a beautiful place to stay. My room, the Eddy, had everything I needed for a comfortable vacation. Fayetteville is super close to New River Gorge National Park which was perfect for me. It was easy to get into the building and my room, even when I arrived very late on the first night. Great communication with the property manager, too, she checked in during my stay to make sure everything was good.

We were so pleased with our room! It's in a great location, the room was pristine, and we loved the decor! We enjoyed all the cute, quirky little touches in the decorating, and we appreciated having cold water waiting for us in the fridge. The coffee was good too! Great place to stay!!

Hiking up the stairs to the 3rd floor was a slog, but I would do it all again in a minute to be back in that colorful and peaceful place!

We loved our stay at this very special place. If you love art, style, nature, and beautiful surroundings—Lafayette Flats is your place. The focus is all things West Virginia— art, poetry, history, books, the New River Gorge situated in a sweet hideaway in quaint Fayetteville, West Virginia. So much to say, but you should just experience it yourself. We cannot recommend this hotel enough!
