\"Old Florida\" Style Beach House in Seagrove, Just Steps From The Ocean
About this house rental
Located in Seagrove Beach, this lovely house for $280 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Located in the heart of Seagrove Beach About Our Beach House... We named our beach house "Russtic Beach" because it was owned by our grandmother, Lucy Russ, and it's a casual "old Florida" style beach house surrounded by scrub oak trees and palmetto bushes. Newly updated, the house is bright and spacious, with a large open concept kitchen, dining and living area. The main bedroom features 2 queen beds, a walk-in closet and an en suite bathroom. The second bedroom features one queen bed, a large closet and a crib. Guests of this room access a separate full hall bathroom. The entire living space is on the 2nd floor - enjoy the evening breeze on the balcony! While this is a single family home, there is a guest quarters located on the lower level on the back of the carport. There is, at times, a long term tenant in that unit. If this would bother you, please inquire as to the status prior to renting. The house, situated on a quiet street, is for those seeking a restful and private retreat.* Likewise, the beach is never overly crowded. (Summer holidays are an exception obviously!) For those who seek the hustle and bustle, never fear! The fun shops, restaurants and bars of Seaside and Watercolor are only 1 mile away, easily reached on foot or by bike. Amenities... The kitchen includes an oven/range, dishwasher and refrigerator. The laundry room contains a full size washer and dryer. The HVAC is new and works great! There's a flat screen smart TV with cable and a DVD player. There's also high speed internet. One of our favorite things is the very private outdoor shower - perfectly refreshing after a long day at the beach! And, useful for getting the small ones bathed quickly after a day in the sand and water. The house is ideal for families...stocked with bath towels, beach towels, beach toys, indoor children's toys and games. There is also a book share...feel free to take a book and leave a book for future guests to enjoy. There are DVDs for all ages and movie preferences. There are 5 adult bicycles and locks. There are beach chairs, umbrellas , beach toys and a wagon for taking items down to the beach.** Parking... There is space available for 2 cars. This is not covered. *Please note that we do not control construction in the area. While the beach house remains very quiet and restful, we cannot offer refunds if there happens to be a home being built nearby. **Please note that the rental rate is for the home and attached items. The above described unattached amenities are provided as a courtesy. They are only as good as their parts. So, please make sure all items make it back to the house from the beach each day. They are replaced annually each May, but no more often than that. Likewise, we do not guarantee that the bicycle tires always have air. There is a pump available for your use. I recently stayed at this VRBO property with my wife and my sister and her husband for my birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach access point. The house was impeccably clean and matched the pictures in the listing, which was a relief.
One of the highlights for us was the availability of bikes in great condition that we could use. Exploring the area on two wheels added a lot of fun to our trip. Additionally, they offered a golf cart for rent, which was convenient for exploring a bit farther if needed.
In terms of dining options, there were plenty of restaurants within biking distance and even reachable by the golf cart. Overall, it was a memorable birthday getaway, and I would highly recommend this VRBO property for anyone looking for a beachside vacation with easy access to activities and dining.

My sister and I stayed during our annual work from beach weekend. We really enjoyed how spacious the place was and how we could spread out during calls. The distance from the beach is not even 5 minutes. The whole space was very well equipped and we will definitely add it to our list of favorite places to stay in 30A.

Just spent a week staying here and LOVED it. We typically stay in Destin, this was our first time on 30A and will def be back! The beach is steps away, the kitchen has what you need and the beds are comfy. The wagon was great to bring stuff to the beach. It was great having chairs and umbrellas available. The chairs are close to sitting on the ground with no arm rests so if you have older folk in your group they may need a different chair. We loved riding the bikes to Seaside for dinner too!
Will def be back and stay here again!

I traveled with my husband and parents and this house was just perfect. So close to the beach, restaurants, grocery store and bike path. We each had our own room and bathroom, which was great. Bathroom and kitchen are a bit dated, but very clean, everything works and kitchen really has everything you need. We loved not having to bring our own beach towels, chairs and umbrella. Lucy was easy to reach and instructions to get in were clear. Do not hesitate to book!

Lucy was very communicative during our stay. The home has nice extras such as beach towels, books, toys for kids, a high chair. Very close to the beach and Seaside. It rained one of the days and she provided a suggestion for an alternative activity. Helpful host! My family and I would love to return.

Our fist trip of many! My sister in law and her son joined me and my son on a quick trip to the beach. The bungalow was perfect for us and the kids enjoyed it so much. We were super close to our beach access and despite the one lane traffic construction, the street was super quiet and calm. Cozy and quaint! Can’t wait to go back.

Perfect Location and Size
Stayed here for a long weekend with some girl friends and had the best time. The location is perfect and the beach isn't even a block away. Easy check in and the most comfortable bed and couches!

This place was amazing - house was great size for the 4 of us, clean, and comfy. It felt like you were staying at a friends house. It was close to the beach and an easy walk to Seaside. Host was communicative and check in and out was a breeze! 10/10 would recommend
