About this cabin rental
Our family has been curating this hidden gem for 20 years.
Deer Run is a favorite *QUIET* vacation spot for small groups, families, and individuals. IF you are looking for a small FAMILY REUNION this building is also AVAILABLE TO RENT WITH Lucy's Lodge #1423858 (this sleeps 12/6 bedrooms).

There is NO WIFI and cellular reception is not that great, but that is what makes our place so special.
If you are looking for a "tech-free" getaway we are the place for you!
Driving to the secluded cabin you must drive down a gravel road and through a pasture (all on our private property). Most small cars seem to have no trouble, but we wanted to let you know in advance what to expect.
On the main level are the kitchen, dining and living rooms (with a pull-out couch), master bath, and bedroom. A compact washer/dryer is located on the main level as well. Upstairs is the second bedroom with 2 bunks and a bathroom (full-size stand-up shower). Deer Run is built to comfortably sleep 6 people and can accommodate 8 maximum (for an additional fee) if the sleeper sofa is used. Outdoor seating is available on both the front and back porches. All linens and cookware are provided. Deer Run has central heat/air and satellite TV in the living room and master bedroom. All you need to bring are the groceries, a swimsuit, and your fishing pole!
Any additional activities must be scheduled PRIOR to your visit.

Jesse and Amy have created a paradise and refuge from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Our group enjoyed the opportunity to disconnect and enjoy nature. From the private lake, to hiking trails, fishing, and boating; our hosts have created the ideal get away. Accommodations were clean and tidy, with every convenience at your finger tips. Even better than described and the pictures do not do it justice. Best of all, the stay supports a free getaway for missionaries which was an honor to contribute toward. We look forward to staying again in the near future!

This was our second time at Deer Run Cabin at Stillwater Refuge! The first time was amazing and this time they had completely replaced the back deck, stairs on front and back and the pier. Fishing was awesome as always and the new lighting on the back deck really made the outdoors so inviting after the sun went down. We will be back! Highly recommend this place if you totally want to unplug from phone calls, text messages and just enjoy life!
