About this condo rental
NOTE: The building will be finishing up waterproofing which won't involve much noise or inconvenience and should be done by the end of May 2024 30 day minimum rental. We also have condos at the Hawaiian Princess that can be rented for less than 30 days. Please inquire for details. This mid-floor beachfront condo at the Hawaiian Princess comes complete with a spectacular sunset ocean view from the lanai. The condo has been remodeled with the best of everything. Amenities include a deluxe fully equipped kitchen with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances including a convection oven, cherry wood cabinets, granite countertops and a stainless steel apron sink. The bathroom has a cherrywood vanity complimented with a vessel sink. It also features a walk-in shower accented in blue pearl granite, travertine rope and a shower panel complete with horizontal body jets. The bedroom features a deluxe hand carved, palm tree themed furniture with a king-size bed with Hawaiian Quilt and shams. The living room has been decorated in tropical colors and rattans that match the cherrywood in the kitchen. It has an elegant and comfortable queen-size sofa sleeper. Relax and enjoy listening to the waves or watching your favorite sporting event. The unit also has 2 large flatscreen TV’s, air conditioning, new front loading washer and dryer, beach equipment and everything else that you need for your stay in paradise including free WIFI. There is also a pool, hot tub, game room, BBQ area and secure, gated and free parking. Best of all, it is directly on one of the best beaches on the island. Also, this is the sunny, leeward side of the island where the weather is almost always perfect. In the back yard: - beautiful, huge, uncrowded beach - swimming with dolphins and turtles, - snorkeling, body boarding, - surfing - paddle boarding - kayaking - hike up Lahilahi Short drive: - waterfalls - caverns and caves - sea caves - tide pools - bicycling - golfing - World-famous Makaha surfing beach - horseback riding at Makaha Valley Stables - deep-sea fishing - dolphin watching tours - grocery stores - many beaches and hikes Medium drive: - tons of great restaurants in Kapolei - three big movie theaters in Kapolei - many beaches and hikes - Waikiki - airport Longer drive: - North Shore - many beaches and hikes A LOT of our business is from repeat guests, so we are doing things right!! Very relaxing time in very nice, thoughtfully appointed condo, perfect for a couple. Has a beautiful view and beach is great. Complex is nice with pool and hot tub and staff was friendly. The only downside was there is an incredibly large homeless camp starting in Waianae and basically ending on the south side of the resort. It is somewhat unsettling and some trails are unaccessible unless you want to walk through the camp areas.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hanging out on the porch offers fabulous views of the bay, and makes it easy to spot wildlife. Recommend bringing binoculars.

This was perfect for getting away from the crowds like you would find at Waikiki beach. It is an hour drive from Honolulu and the North Shore, so a rental car is a must. Sunsets were gorgeous every night. The security that Hawaiian Princess has works quite well and feels safe for families. Can’t wait to come back. If local walking and shopping is your thing, this may not be for you. Waikiki has all the high end shopping but all the crowds too.

Excellent beach! Updated condo was very comfortable.
This was perfect for getting away from the crowds like you would find at Waikiki beach. It is an hour drive from Honolulu and the North Shore, so a rental car is a must. Sunsets were gorgeous every night. The security that Hawaiian Princess has works quite well and feels safe for families. Can’t wait to come back. This property is wonderful! The views are absolutely spectacular. The condo was exactly as advertised. It had everything we needed and then some! The bed was very comfy…even the pull out couch was nice!
The host was great about communicating. The property is farther away from Honolulu/Waikiki but the drive offered amazing views.
The beach is gorgeous and very private, the pool and hot tub were perfect! I have nothing but good things to say about our stay!

This property was great. We stayed 7 nights for our Honeymoon. The owner was very nice to us. The unit had everything, but the best part was the balcony/patio right on the beach. Beautiful! Saw so many amazing turtles and a seal swam through our last full day. The sunsets were incredible!
The surrounding neighborhood is just okay, but we had no issues and the parking lot
was safe and secure. We loved our stay, and would definitely come back, maybe for anniversary. Thanks.

Just returned to Florida after spending 9 days @ The Hawaiian Princess Resorts. If you want to get away from the crowds and tourists, this is where you need to book. The views from the balcony were breathtaking as well as the ones when walking out the front door. Don't let the sketch areas you drive through deter you from staying here. The property is gated with plenty of parking. The unit appears to have been remodeled recently. Comes with everything you need in the kitchen as well as a washer/dryer in the unit. We will definitely stay here again when we decide to return.

Beautiful location on a beautiful beach. Traffic on 93 is horrible, but if you want to just chill at the beach this is the place.

Amazing!
We truly enjoyed our stay. Pictures accurately represent the property - it is top notch. Beach and view were incredible. Wish we could have stayed longer! Yes, there are some homeless people in the area (as there are throughout the island) as some others have commented, however we never once felt unsafe or uncomfortable, so please do not let that be a deterrence from staying at this amazing property. We also enjoyed the grill, and other people staying in the building were all very pleasant - all return visitors. 4k TV w Netflix was nice as well! .Only suggestion would be to invest in a decent fry pan. If we had staying longer, I would have walked over to Long's Drugs and spent $20 on a fry pan and left it as a donation. Maybe next time... We will be back!!

Great Manager, location...meh.
First off, let me tell you about the owner/manager. She is nothing short of amazing at responding to inquiries and communicates very well. She was absolutely wonderful!
I read the reviews on the Hawaiian Princess and decided to book this as a result of those reviews. I wanted to give an honest review of this rental to ensure others know what/where they are renting. So here it goes...
If you are looking to rent a place that has amazing views and you don't plan to do much sightseeing, this is the place for you!The condo was clean, well furnished, and the view is to die for (seriously the best view of our vacation!) along with a private beach to enjoy. The surf can get a bit rough so just be aware of that. The condo was well stocked with plenty of towels, dishes, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, and even a beach umbrella!
If you are looking for a resort feel and would like to sightsee on the island, this really would not be the place to stay. The neighborhood outside of the security gate is a bit run down and I would not venture out of the gate for anything unless we were in the car. There are not that many businesses in the area other than grocery stores and drug stores, and there are no decent restaurants that we encountered within 30 minutes of the property. (Assaggio in Kapolei was an AWESOME Italian restaurant we went to, about 30 minutes away.) Most of the attractions are pretty far away, Polynesian Cultural Center is 1.5 hours, Waikiki/Diamond Head an hour, North Shore an hour, and so on. The drive time really eats into the sightseeing time. We have friends that were stationed on the island a few years ago and when we told them where we staying, they were surprised because it is known as the "rougher" part of town. This was obvious as you will pass several "tent cities" as you drive up and down the coast within about 30 minutes of the condo. I guess at the end of the day we should have researched the location and drive times better before booking and we would have known this.
If I could give Kathy 10 stars as a host, I would The location would get 1 star, and the view off of the lanai would get 100! It was awesome, exactly as pictured!

Affordable beach front condo
The condo was just as listed, the neighborhood is not the best, there’s an abundance amount of homeless all over and they also sleep on the beach. The building staff is great, I made Xmas dinner and gave some to the guard on staff. I do recommend a deep cleaning and high dusting. Nonetheless, I love waking up to the sound of the waves, the roster not so much LOL. Thank you kathy!

A Quiet Getaway
Condo was everything we expected and more! Property manager gave us a wonderful packet of information ahead of time to tell us everything we needed to know and was very accessible to answering any questions we had.

Property is exactly as pictured. Having had spinal surgery beds are usually a problem. Not this time. Wonderful bed! Enjoyed seeing turtles in water almost everyday. Snorkeling was amazing right off the beach. So peaceful!! Mahalo.

Paradise
I love this property. We've stayed here before and just love the place. Its away from all the confusion. We can relax and enjoy . I think its a shame what the Mayor has done. Some people just don't want those major hotels. plus we drop a lot of money in this town so I can't imagine why the people complain. We're hoping this gets worked out so we can come back again. Sounds like the Mayor is mingling with the big guys. MONEY !!!! Such a shame.

Gorgeous condo!
The view off the balcony is amazing! Waking up in the morning and eating on the patio was pure luxury. It's hard to find anything like this on the other parts of the island at this price. The beach feels private and it has good snorkeling with sea turtles! There are communal boogie boards and kayaks. This unit is really nicely updated. They also had beach chairs and snorkeling gear in the outside closet that we didn't see till the last day. The bed and pillows are super comfy!

Awesome view and clean
If you want to be away from all the hustle and bustle of Waikiki then this is your place. This is our 3rd stay at this facility and by far the best condo unit we have rented. We initially were set up for 902 but right before our stay Kathy contacted us that the lanai repairs were going to be done on this unit and would only have a very small opening and offered us 702 which we opted for and was not disappointed. Kathy was very quick to respond to any questions we had and the fact she let us know prior to our stay to allow us another unit was over and beyond and we definitely appreciated it. Yes you are far from the night life but Makaha does have many good restaurants to eat at but we enjoy cooking and loving the view. This unit was immaculate and the owners have purchased many new items that look as if they have barely been used. Thank you to the owners and thank you Kathy for the wonderful stay. John and Cindy

Beautiful beach front property
We had never been to this part of the island and couldn't have been more positively surprised! The condominium complex sits right on one of the most beautiful and private beaches we have ever experienced. Unit 902, where we stayed, is very well appointed with lovely island furniture, modernized and equipped kitchen (which is important to us as we like to cook), comfortable bed, and nicely decorated and up to date bathroom. Every morning we enjoyed coffee and breakfast on our balcony with nothing but spectacular ocean to gaze at. The beach and ocean here are perfect for swimming, reading, relaxing and the chairs and umbrella provided are such a nice touch. We are already making plans to return in 2019!
