Situated in Montauk, this charming house for $1,200 per night is a great option for your next trip. WALK TO THE BEACH- never deal with limited or restricted beach parking. Ride your bike or walk to the beach throughout the day. Great private loft home office. OUR CLEANING CREW CLEANS AND DISINFECTS TO THE HIGHEST STANDARDS. Weekly cleanings are required for any stay longer than one week. Two blocks from the world-renown Ditch Plains Beach on a quiet street next to a preserve is a stunning modern beach house defined by understated luxury and offering unique privacy for Ditch Plains. The house was designed for an unparalleled beach lifestyle. An open loft-like first floor with high ceilings and a concrete floor features a living room with large L shaped Roche Bobois leather sofa, an Eames Lounge, and a stone ribbon fireplace that frames the recessed television. The adjacent kitchen is equipped with Wolf, Subzero and Miele appliances and a 12 foot carrara marble center island with seating for 6. The dining area, with a designer built reclaimed timber dining table and Eames chairs, seats 8 comfortably. The 16 foot custom slider provides access to a very large outdoor mahogany deck with a teak table for 10+ persons, outdoor lounge furniture, and a gas fired Webber grill. The front mahogany deck, accessed through a 10 foot slider, has Saarinen tables and chairs and is used for breakfast and watching the sunrise. The luxurious outdoor shower allows you to exit/enter the house from the first floor bathroom and it is the most coveted shower. The custom designed cantilevered steel and walnut staircase, fabricated in Italy, connects the 1st floor living/dining/kitchen space to the upper 3 bedrooms, full bathroom, and Master suite with private bath and office. All bedrooms have ample closet storage. Each bathroom has German manufactured Dornbracht faucets with custom designed walnut vanities, Duravit wall hung toilets with bidets, Carrara subway tile, heated pebble, and stone floors and flush mounted ceiling rainhead showers. The house has radiant floor heating and individually controlled a/c for every room and is decorated with vintage period pieces and a collection of vintage glass. Attached to the house is a 15+ surfboard storage station and dry under deck parking for 6 beach cruisers which come with the rental. Beach chairs, beach umbrella and a large beach wagon included. A rare not to be missed rental . Cancellation Policy: Cancellations permitted with a 10% fee plus the amount of any revenue shortfall from a successful re-renting. We strongly encourage renter to purchase travelers insurance as a means of payment protection. EH Reg. 22-1625

This super modern house is very comfortable and well laid out. 4 bedrooms and 2 beautiful bathrooms upstairs and a bathroom and AMAZING outdoor shower downstairs. The outdoor shower is attached to the bathroom so was comfortable for a shower even on a brisk fall day. Heated toilet seats/ bidets and heated towel racks are just some of the terrific touches. Kitchen is a cooks dream - Professional stove, drawers and counter space and an outdoor grill. Lovely decks off the kitchen and the upstairs master bedroom. Fireplaces in LR and upstairs suite are lovely also.
A sort drive or bike ridge to the beach - owners leaves bikes/ Beach chairs/ boogie board and beach wagon.

We are longtime Montauk renters but never before in Ditch. It didn't disappoint. House was exactly as advertised; beautiful high end furnishings, modern yet comfortable details and clean spaces. It was a great weekend and we will definitely be back. Owner was easy going and available.

We had a wonderful time at Christopher’s lovely home in ditch plains. He was so flexible and communicative and it was such a breeze. The house is incredible and the location can’t be beat! We loved riding our bikes to ditch plains every day and being so close to the beach. We hope to be back soon!

I cannot say enough about our experience. We wanted to get away as a family (of five), something that was laid back and relaxed, but with lots to do when we wanted it. We live in a quite modern house and were looking for something with a similar vibe.
Montauk is one of our favorite locations and we have stayed a week there a few times already. This location was located near "Ditch Beach," I believe it is the last beach on your way to Montauk point so it feels intimate, without large crowds or parking lots. You will see lots of surfers (it seems to be a kind of "surfer beach") of all ages. From kids that looked to be 2 or 3 years perched at the tip of their parent's board to people who seem to have been living the surfing life into old age. It takes maybe five minutes to walk or 2 minutes to drive to the beach from the property.
We were pleasantly surprised several times. We brought our own bikes only to find that property actually already comes with access to four bikes. We brought beach chairs and then found that the storage space under the deck is stacked with chairs, some surf boards, a boogie board, umbrella, etc.
The house's construction is remarkably solid and high quality, from windows and doors to the gas fireplace and three outdoor decks. There is a spacious office space at the very top half-floor from which you can work quietly.
The entrance way and landscaping is the first thing you see. It is well maintained and creates a nice privacy barrier, with tall hedges separating the front lawn from the gravel parking area. Not that the street is busy at all.
One of our favorite features was the outdoor shower, wrapped in wood, in which you can take a hot, strong shower under the Hampton's famously beautiful sky, toward sunset, after a day in the sand.
The owner, Christopher, was really helpful and responsive. He lives nearby, built the house for his family, and raised his kids there so knows the area and provides some good "inside" tips as part of the house manual.
We will definitely be back.

Okay, I was just looking through my VRBO emails and saw that I hadn't reviewed this house. We stayed here last summer and it was fabulous. Kitchen was well stocked and everything in the home was comfortable. Spectacular deck on which we enjoyed time together after a long day at the Ditch Plains beach. Fairly easy walk, great host and lovely property. Definitely recommend.

This is a well-designed, amazingly well appointed house. Everything in it is first class. Chris, the person who handled the transaction, was prompt and very responsive. Even though we were well ahead of the season, he acquired new bicycles for us to ride to the beach and around the neighborhood. We all loved our stay.

Beautiful home, clean and spacious, with an amazing location. Weather was cold during our visit, loved hanging by the fireplace. Side yard and basement were perfect for the kids to spread out and have their own space. Walked to the beach in the mornings. We hope to return soon!
