Hither Hills is a quiet, rustic, family neighborhood with winding hilly roads and it is the only neighborhood in Montauk with deeded beach rights. That means the beach is never crowded, like the town beaches can be. The house is a 4-minute walk to the quiet secluded beach at Hither Hills, miles from the public beaches in town. It is so close to the beach that it is quicker to walk to it than to drive. The drive into town takes only 5-minute. The upstairs living area – fully paneled in aromatic pinewood – is a 900 square-foot open space with Andersen windows and sliding doors on three sides – east, west and south –offering lots of sun and briny ocean breezes. A brand-new kitchen renovation was installed upstairs in 2022 and two sparkling new bathrooms modernized the house downstairs in 2020.
