Nestled in Brighton, this lovely chalet for $293 per night is a great option for your next trip. Lakeside Chalet sits just feet away from Island Pond [lake]. Provides breath-taking views in the perfect spot to enjoy them. A stay in this chalet is just like being at home - only better! Kitchen is fully furnished with all utensils and appliances - plus - you can step outside and grill up a great bbq and enjoy at lakeside picnic table! All linens provided but feel free to take advantage of washer/dryer if needed. Stay connected with free WiFi and Comcast/Xfinity cable TV.

The communication from the owner's was outstanding and the property was just as described/pictured. The view of the lake was beautiful and we had a wonderful time.

We recently stayed for our anniversary beautiful house with beautiful views, pretty clean except we had to rescue the outdoor grill which was away from the house and give it a thorough cleaning before using, as well as the firepit was full of wet ashes and had to be cleared out before using, I guess these items aren't on the cleaners list but probably should be. The house was fine inside except for a few flaws that should be noted, one of which is both bathrooms have just standup showers that are quite small and compact so if you're a big person you're not going to be able to fit in either and that needs to be said, fortunately neither of us are that big so we could manage but it was tight for movement. The other is that you have a most beautiful view of the lake but although there's just one master bedroom upstairs they kinda walled it off so you lose that beautiful view from your bedroom as well as you have to go out of your bedroom into the little loft hall to get to the bathroom next to your bedroom closet, poor design for a master suite, if it were me I'd probably redesign that upstairs master suite because it has the potential to be so much. Overall we had a nice stay, kayaking the lake when the weather permitted and hiking at Brighton state park which is literally only .2 miles away.

We celebrated Thanksgiving at this beautiful home right on Island Pond. It was just what we were looking for; quiet, sunny, warm, and cozy. And we were especially thrilled to find Brighton State Forest a short distance down the road for walking the trails. A lovely home and setting!

This cottage is very warm and cozy, and we loved the views of Island Pond in the morning and evenings. Easy access to town. Really enjoyed our relaxing weekend here.

We stayed 3 nights. The chalet is beautiful and the lake views are great. Craig was a pleasure to deal with. We will be making this an annual stay.

The pictures are a perfect description, but the place is better still. The knotty pine interior is done beautifully, and the large windows provide a great view of the Lake, just steps from the house. We used both the kayak for Two and the single Kayak and both were in good condition. Craig was a super host, easy and informative. The place was spotless and well provisioned when we arrived.

Our family enjoyed the house and property immensely over our week stay. The location was within walking distance of a nice beach at the state park and a few hikes, with other places to explore a short drive away. We loved having the kayaks at our disposal to explore the lake, especially the island with the sandy beach! Our toddler loved playing at the house beach and hanging out with the ducks and herons.
