Boulder Creeks is a 3 BR/3BA, beautifully updated home nestled in a perfect setting inside the gated community of Hound Ears. This renovated masterpiece boasts brand-new flooring, kitchen, furniture, and decor throughout. Inside, you'll find two king suites on the main floor with a queen bedroom as well. Upstairs, there is plenty of room for the kids, with two pulldown Murphy twin beds, a bumper pool/poker table, and a gaming station. The outdoor setting almost rivals the interior beauty. Outside, you'll find a rushing creek that travels along the setpiece boulders throughout the property. There is also a recessed hot tub in the deck area. Whether you're looking to enjoy the outdoors of the High Country or the cozy fireplace inside, Boulder Creeks has everything you need to make lasting memories in the mountains. Book today! *Important Information Per POA restrictions, a maximum of 2 cars is permitted at the property. There is no room for more than 2 cars. Violators will be towed, so please plan accordingly. There is additional parking at our office in Boone (about 20 minutes away).

A fascinating location - decor is unique!
Despite days of rain, we enjoyed our location!
One red flag - the home is definitely not handicap friendly - steps in are difficult to navigate and our group was all 75+ and all were challenged. It would have been helpful to have this noted in the home description.

The home was lovely and the setting was beautiful! We found the house to be clean and provided all the amenities we needed. We were centrally located to visit Blowing Rock for shopping and Grandfather Mountain Winery. The rushing creek directly on property was a lovely soundtrack. I would absolutely book this property again!

The property did not disappoint! Boulder Creeks is in a beautiful, gated community. Everyone was so friendly! The house itself was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The sound of the rushing creek was so relaxing!

Boulder Creeks is a lovely home in an amazing setting. Two creeks wrap around the house and provided a great backdrop for our stay. I imagine in the summer with the windows open the sound of the creeks is fantastic. The house provided enough room for 4 adults and one teen. The beds were comfortable though more pillows and a warmer blanket/comforter would be nice in the winter. The kitchen was reasonably well stocked but lacked some basics: cookie sheet, pizza cutter, dishes/plates that can go in the microwave, to name a few. Overall it was an enjoyable stay that could be fantastic with a few additions.

The exterior of the property, the setting and the neighborhood are very beautiful. The home is very compact but was adequate. The furnishings, finishes and bedding are very nice. There is far too much decor in this house. It’s like an interior designer put enough Knick knacks in this house for two houses so it feels cluttered. The rental is mostly clean but is in need of a deep cleaning. There was a dirty sock laying on living room floor when we arrived. The hot tub could also use a cleaning. The sunset view from the hot tub was wonderful. The fact that a stream runs through the property was really cool! I like that it’s in a gated community. We enjoyed our stay but it should be cleaned better for the price.

My heart sisters and I started a tradition of meeting every year before the holidays. This chalet was the perfect place that we needed for a getaway and reunion. The chalet was very cozy and charming with lots of character. It had all the basic necessities we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Words doesn't do it justice, you just have to experience it yourself. On behalf of my heart sisters, we woiuld like to thank you for opening up your beautiful home to us.

Even though the weather was not on our side, it was wonderful being ‘trapped’ in this home. From the cozy fireplace, and sweet loft with game table our family still had a great time. The rain only made the waterfalls under and around the house more beautiful. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Nice property in Hound Ears. Not roomy but comfortable for 6 people. Nice back deck and enjoyed the creek that runs through property.

We were so pleased when we pulled up and saw this location. The house was just beautiful. It’s built on a rock and a stream. The beds were very comfortable and the house is decorated beautifully. The deck is large and there are many great places for coffee and wine. Thank you. Laura B

The house is lovely but there are a few things worth mentioning.
The hot tub was not made for 4 people and the deck level design terrible for older adults. The main TV is not a smart TV so we could not mirror with our phones, hence no Netflix. One other suggestion, the kitchen cookware needs replaced, the skillets were in bad shape. Everything else just fine.

Also, no washing machine to be found or outdoor garbage cans. I would recommend for couples or adults only, not the safest or best atmosphere for kids.

The house is lovely but there are a few things worth mentioning.
The hot tub was not made for 4 people and the deck level design terrible for older adults. The main TV is not a smart TV so we could not mirror with our phones, hence no Netflix. One other suggestion, the kitchen cookware needs replaced, the skillets were in bad shape. Everything else just fine.

The neighborhood and surrounding areas are fantastic. Boulder Creeks has a unique and peaceful surrounding landscape with creeks and large boulders. The house itself is uniquely decorated and has a very cozy feel yet with plenty of room for our family of 7. Easy access to Blue Ridge Parkway for hiking and enjoying nature as well as conveniently located near Boone or Banner Elk for you shopping and dining needs. the kids loved the loft and bumper pool. Loved having TVs in each room. I really wanted to give a 5 star rating because this is a wonderful and unique home, but cleanliness could be improved in the home in the hot tub. Had to buy garbage bags, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent. Very little supplies compared to other VRBOs we have stayed at. A new washer would be great as well. Otherwise we had a fantastic stay.

Anniversary Trip
Absolutely beautiful cabin. It was our first time visiting the High Country and this turned out to be a great central location to downtown Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk. My husband fell in love with the decorating style of this cabin with all the taxidermy and we can’t wait to come back!

Mountain Paradise
Absolutely amazing and beautiful cabin. The only problem we had with our stay is that it wasn't long enough. My wife literally did not want to leave. This cabin has all the amenities anyone could ask for. We are already making plans to return in the near future. If you're looking for the perfect paradise in a beautiful gated mountain side community, this IS the place.
Tammy at the front gate was extremely helpful during our stay. This was our first visit to the high country and she went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She pointed us in the right direction, literally, to all the great attractions in the area.
We did get out and about once but we didn't want to leave the cabin. She will be a friend for life. Also, Carolina Cabin Rentals was our booking agent for this cabin and they are fantastic to work with. Very friendly folks.

We had the most wonderful long weekend at your beautiful house. The location was so central to everything and the property itself could not have been more perfect. The house was cozy and well acquainted, and the decor was straight out of a magazine. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful property! We will be back!

Loved the cozy atmosphere of this chalet located in a beautiful private community. Our grandchildren enjoyed the natural yard playground with the boulders and waterfalls, along with the beauty of the fall foliage we experienced while visiting. My husband and I enjoyed the electric fireplace in the master bedroom so much that we purchased one for our own bedroom. The kitchen was very well stocked and highly recommend Duralogs for the fireplace.
Very convenient to grocery store, eating establishments and sight seeing adventures.

Wonderful Fall escape with family
Loved the cozy atmosphere of this chalet located in a beautiful private community. We called the management company and they said they would get someone out to fix it. Well I’m 7 1/2 months pregnant and all of us needed showers and access to a bathroom. I had to call a few times and then finally at 730 pm plumbers show up to fix it without a call from anyone letting us know they were coming. They said there was two blockages in the pipes and luckily we didn’t have further issues. I get plumbing issues are out of owners control but the lack of communication and care was the issue. We had to call the main gates and ask to use on site showers and bathrooms. The rental company didn’t offer us any help for that. Even after the issue was fixed they never followed up with us at all. The only other thing I wasn’t a fan of was the dining table is literally in the kitchen making it very difficult for more than one person to cook without circling the table. Over all we had a great relaxing week.

I found Kia lantern style flashlight in the butler’s pantry that we used in the kitchen. We also turned on the light under the microwave. The home accommodates 8 people but only had dinner plates for six. I had to buy paper plates. I also had to buy soap for the master bathroom, dish detergent, dishwashing detergent and Kleenex and toilet paper. Compared to other VRBO’s we have rented, this one had the absolute bare minimum of basic necessities. I feel that is more a reflection on the management company than the owners

The neighborhood is beautiful and we could easily explore mutilple areas: Boone, Valle Crucis, Blowing Rock. We loved our quality time at the house with family and wish we could have stayed longer!
