The deign was quirky in the rooms and building made a nice change.Good location,clean,comfortable bed. Well equiped but chose to eat out.Did not meet the host but check in was straightforward.
Only negative was the noisy street at night time. Very noisy on the Friday and Saturday nights we stayed. Only quiet after 2:30 am ! I advise taking ear plugs which I did not! Despite original windows,Double glazed unit and shutters.

The bathroom door is a little transparent and this a bit uncomfortable

The location was great. The fruit offering in the kitchen was really nice. The bed and the pillows were comfortable. It was really nice to have English channels on the tv.
