About this cabin rental
Welcome to Maple Oak! This adorable cottage sleeps up to 6 people and is also pet friendly. There is plenty of room next to the cottage to park your boat/trailer and vehicles. The master bedroom has a comfy king-size bed, flat-screen television with plenty of storage for all your vacation clothes. The loft is a perfect spot for kids or grown-ups that want to relax. There are two queen beds in the upstairs loft.
All bed and bath linens are changed after each guest. All surfaces are thoroughly disinfected before each new guest arrives.
The downstairs has an open concept with comfortable seating for everyone to gather and visit. The kitchen has full-size appliances and plenty of counter space to cook up your days catch. There is also an island with two stools for dining and four wooden tv trays for dining as well.
Enjoy peaceful evenings on the covered porch amidst the beautiful oaks trees on the property. Enjoy grilling outside with your group on the gas grill and making memories sitting around the picnic table.
Tranquil Oaks has a common area with a large fire ring and shared picnic table.
You're only minutes away from all the fun of downtown Rockport! Tranquil Oaks Cottages is also centrally located between Cove Harbor Marina, Conn Brown, and Redfish Bay Marina for quick and easy boat launching. Rockport Beach is a fun and affordable way to spend a day relaxing and swimming. Kids will also have a blast at the beach with the multiple themed playgrounds and swing sets. There are picnic tables and grills that you can set up for the perfect beach experience. Rockport is home to many historical sights and parks as well, including the Fulton Mansion, Goose Island State Park, and The Texas Maritime Museum. Spend a day shopping on Market Street and an evening walking along the water. You can also enjoy fresh fish while watching the sunset over the bay at one of Rockport’s many tasty seafood restaurants.

I booked this place super last minute for the 4th of July weekend. It’s a great location right in between Rockport and Aransas Pass, takes 10 min to get to either. Cutest little cul-de-sac with 6 total cottages on the property. Love that it was pet friendly. Might just be the time of year but mosquitoes were eating us up like a buffet when in the grass area. Definitely take bug repellent if you’re gonna hang outside. The cottage itself is just what you need nothing more, nothing less. This particular cabin #4 didn’t have any hand or dish soap so you’ll need to take your own and a trash bag b/c the only one is the small one in the bathroom. The only thing my teens mentioned was that the bed furthest from the a/c and fan didn’t get too much of the cool air when they slept but wasn’t bad enough to not make a reservation here again.

Very nice cottage that looks just like the pictures it was 5 little cottages in a circle with plenty of parking for cars and boat. Very quiet and peaceful and had a grill, picnic table, and 2 chairs on front porch. Close to Rockport and to Port Aransas. Halfway in between. Had everything you needed if you wanted to cook inside or out. Beds were very comfortable and TVs cable and WiFi. The couch makes out to a bed of you needed and the upstairs has 2 queen beds and we’re comfortable. FYI keep blinds closed when temps are hot or upstairs will be warm fir who ever is up there the first night I would stay there again!!

We really liked Maple Oak. The floor plan was nice. It has a king sized bed! The mattress was very comfortable. The fact that it has an actual kitchen is great, we were able to cook some meals. It was convenient to the kite festival we were there for.
The only problem we had was that it had pet hair on the living room furniture and it smelled like dogs. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.
