I liked my room, it was quite spacious and the bed was comfortable. The balcony outside was pleasant and roomy too. The best part though was the connection to the grander hotel next door with its excellent swimming pool and beautifully appointed lobby. Very swish.
Also worth a mention, staff member Kin who doubles as a tuk tuk driver and speaks ok English. Helpful guy for getting round town even though I didn’t book his tours further afield.

very big spacious room, especially for the price we payed. nice fridge and lots of storage room for our big bags. lovely bathroom - spacious and good walk in shower. good water pressure - but not always very hot, however still pleasant. lovely staff, and tried best to help, even when some couldn’t speak very good english. beautiful pool in the adjoining hotel which you have full access to. lovely coffee shop in the lobby with affordable, if not cheap prices. no window in room so stayed dark in the morning. 30 min walk to town but tuktuks were cheap and we hired a bike the second day.
our room had no window so felt a bit closed in and was definitely a fire hazard. also, one set of stairs to get to the ground floor - another fire hazard. ants across the ceiling of the bathroom and in the sink, some went onto our towels. Our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay.
