Host was very helpful and interesting to talk with. Good pool, very clean. Good garden surrounds with villas and individual balconies. Close to train station with only a few minutes walk. Breakfast available, good value with bread, egg cooked how you like, fruit, juice and coffee.
Road is rough for dragging wheel suitcases, so ask the host for luggage help. Town is 2 km away, so not a problem if you have your own transport, but otherwise organise a tuktuk for transport.

Loved the beautiful gardens and location.
The food could be much better for breakfast. Should have some choice. Or just include the food for free. Considering that for $2.50 could get bowl of Khmer soup, $5 for two eggs and one piece of bacon seemed not so good.

Clearly I had not thought this through having never been to Kampot. We were a long way from the town. Alot of the electrical points did not work and/or broken. TV didn't work. Nothing to eat here, you have to leave the premises.
