Going to write a bit here to help others with their decision on this whether to go to this property. The location here is very good - close to the beaches and to a couple of good tavernas. Short drive to town for more tavernas and shops - could walk but a bit hot! 15 min drive to other lovely beaches Facilities in the house good and we were left some fruit, veg, water and wine (but no dishwasher tablets!) Please note the 3rd bedroom is a separate studio down stairs - it worked great for my older son but if you had a younger child it might not be so good - has an own door access and not accessible from inside. bathroom upstairs quite small and hardly any mirrors in the house ( 2 teenage girls!). Air con very good. Pool nice and a bit bigger than I expected but still just for a splash about Electricity went one day with a blown fuse but was fixed within 4-5 hours

beds v hard - I could not sleep in them some nights! Only 1 pillow per person. This was quiet an expensive rental so just expected a small bit more. Outdoor furniture a bit old and dated.. One of the sunbeds was broken so 3 sunbeds for 5 people. There was no instructions book/manual for anything in the house which I though was unusual. did not know how to get the netflix to work or the TVs upstairs but did not really need them anyway. Also no information pack about the area, things to do , medical facilities, shops , recommendations etc. in the house. I always like that in an rental property but maybe Covid got rid of all that? As far as I could see pool was not cleaned during our 6 day stay

A warm and lovely welcome by Irene the caretaker, with fresh fruits and vegetables waiting for us. Tidy rooms, kitchen and bathrooms. Beautiful interior decoration, well maintained swimming pool, top-notch air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV streaming, large flat screens. A very cozy basement studio, comfortable sunbeds on the terrace. Overall a great location (200 meters from the beach).

Everything was just perfect; one only has to know that Plakias is a quite windy place.

Everything was just perfect. House is 200-300 m from amazing beach, bars and tavern. House is perfectly equipped with everything you need on vacation. the pool is small but great for cooling off and safe for children. thanks to Irene for looking after us and fresh vegetables and eggs. we want to go back there - Plakias is a paradise on earth :)

This semi-detached house is in excellent condition, it is very modern, spacious and comfortable. It's a very easy walk to the splendid beach (not even 2 minutes if going real slow), and you end up on the quiet side of the Plakias bay beach where the sea is beautifully turquoise and crystal clear. The commercial area of Plakias (supermarkets, restaurants, other stores) on the other side of the bay is within easy reach, by car in 1 to 2 minutes, or on foot in about 10 minutes it's a very pleasant walk along the beach, day and night (a few restaurants are even closer). The quality of the landlady's welcome is exceptionally good, she is super nice and highly efficient in dealing with anything needed in the house. Plakias is beautiful and has just enough tourism to feel nicely alive yet avoids any mass-tourism feeling and there is nothing like ugly high-rises anywhere in its whole bay area. There is a cute and ultra-clean private swimming pool in the house, with a shower which also comes in handy to clear off any sand when coming back from the beach before entering the house. The house is very quiet and relaxing, and has a nicely wide terrace front and back. Free parking in front of the house was always a doddle.
