We got another apartment, instead of a penthouse with a terrace, a musty room with a window to the street on the ground floor, dirty sheets, zero communication.

Apartamento de 30 metros cuadrados, acondicionado para familia . Adaptaciones segundo piso con pésima terminación. Muebles en pésimos estados , colchón viejos y sucios , mesa del comedor en pésimo estado , sillón sofá roto en totalidad . Loza utensilios de la cocina sucio y viejos , tostadora mala , microonda antiguo , refrigerador pequeño . En general el apartamento NO ESTA APTO PARA VACACIONAR !!! Y MENOS POR EL PRECIO QUE LUEGO TE APLICAN 28% MAS DEL VALOR PUBLICADO CON IMPUESTOS EN BOOKING.

We arrived and the assigned apartment and the air conditioning was broken and a bad smell of humidity, the bathroom super dirty, the walls, the closet horrible, the kitchen also dirty, even the broken night table, I went to the reception and after so much complain They gave me another apartment just for that night that was dirtier, but with a working air conditioning, but cockroaches in the microwave, only one tv and wasn't working. I called Booking.com to get my money back since it was not what I had paid for and they suggested that we leave Before 11:00 am they will only charge me for one night and we did so, we called a taxi and went to an Airbnb. At 4 in the afternoon Mrs. Ingrid wrote to me telling me that since morning they had fixed the air conditioning and that she will return, I told her that that place was in very bad condition and she told me that she would not refund my money. My advice, do not use this platform since they do not support the client, only scammers who put their properties for rent and do not even look like the photos. Here are some pictures.

The property was nice but the room could have used more amentities or stated there wasn't much available.
The room did not have the linens and ametities as expected. The two towels provided were thin and one had a large hole. There were no extra towels and to have a property was a pool that was surprising. Additionally there was one one bed set so if the downstairs sofá wanted to be used nothing to cover and not enough blankets to be comfortable. Also contacting the owner was impossible which is never good as things tend to happen and communication is important.

Dirty, smelled like mold, mirrors were not cleaned, there was a leak in the kitchen. it was hard to breathe in this property.

Very nice spacious apartment, with forest and sea view from balcony. Really close to a nice beach, just outside the apartment. Beach had a beautiful pier to stay on, restaurant and beach bar. Very quiet place.

The room was nothing like the picture, we requested 2 beds room, and there was only 1 bed and a broken leather “sofa- casa” not very clean.

Cadaques Bayahibe is a wonderful place, with a private beach, swimming pools and a water park. The staff is very friendly and it has a restaurant and bar with a wide variety of products. Unfortunately Greta Ortiz, the person in charge of managing the properties in this beautiful place, gives visitors a very hard time when canceling the reservations that one has, the day before entering, to request much more money and that must be deposited in her personal account defrauding those who trusted the Booking platform; I don't particularly feel safe with Booking anymore, since they don't provide solutions either, they just told me to give a bad review!
Greta Ortiz, the person who manages the property, phone 809-875-2323, gave me a different apartment than the one that appeared in the photo: the kitchen did not work, neither did the light in the kitchen. A very rude person, since she told me that if I didn't like it I could leave, instead of giving me solutions; In addition, Greta canceled the reservation that I had in booking for an amount of US$545, with her, one day before entering, arguing that the 3 different American bank cards were not valid and she asked me to deposit double the amount in her personal account. that I should pay US$1150. Since I had already planned this stay in Bayahibe since July and my babies wanted to receive Christmas with their friends, I had no choice but to pay for this scam.

We did have there some beautiful days- before the place got full (for christmas). We spent most of the our time on the patoon, relaxing on it with the amazing view and snorkling from there to the artificially grown reef.
You should be aware that all the handling with the Apartment is done via WhatsApp.

The location, the facilities, landscaping, and the staff.
The host was very rude, didn't answer basic questions! Barley or didn't answer the messages sent. I figure things out myself! Not clean at ALL, I was there for 5 days and 3 towels was provided, no wash or dryer. I had to purchase more towels, no paper towels! The furniture, floors, and the bathroom was not sanitary, but charged $50 for a "Clean- up" fee! I need a partial refund for the cleaning products I had to buy plus my time for cleaning it! I was very DISAPPOINTED!!!

My apartment iwas old and poorly maintained. Couldn't sleep up in the loft because a/c wouldn't reach up there and the ceiling fan didn't work, it was like an oven up there. So I had to sleep on the lumpy couch. I locked myself out of my room, there's only one key on site!! Contacted the owner, who was rude as he'll, offered NO resolution to my situation. I had to pay a skinny staff member to climb in the bathroom window. Sugar ants all throughout the apt. No Hot Water, or water pressure.

The pool a little a bit but they say not to take a dogs and around the pool they had not inside but around and they urinated near the pool.
It has a lot of mice and we found a dead one in the kitchen that s why we ran out of that place on Sunday at 6:40 AM , because The mice ate the food we had especially the bread ,we have photos of the mouse. They don’t have a big cloth , only a small one and bad condition the stay there was horrible. we wrote to the person and never answers at one was horrible experience.

The complex is great. Kids loved the beach, pools, and water park. Restaurant has good food. The store has just about everything you could need and wasnt horribly priced.
The room isnt great. Tiny and poorly maintained. The towels in the bathroom look like they are used to clean floors and are poor quality. The kitchen is poorly built and cheaply furnished. The hot water in the shower is almost non existent and goes extremely hot for a few seconds and then goes cold. The owner does not respond to messages on the phone number provided. We paid an extreme amount because of easter weekend and expected the room to be better. The room was a major disappointment.

the apartments were dirty (even if the host let us choice btw 3, after allocating us in one apartment with strong smell of mould/dump inside) none of the cleaners bring us fresh towels as we booked for 6 night !!! The bed sheet and toilet were not clean at all !!! very very disappointed and surely is not worth the money we spend !!! I would recommend the location but not the property !!

The host is non responsive. We needed to write and call many times before she replied. And her reply was without any real answer. In the end she delivered what we asked for: earlier entrance to the residence, and the key details. But her behavior was completely off. Beware of this Greta lady as she is not a communicative person.

Was my second time there on differents Apartments and its always a pleasure,the place was very clean and with a perfect location i love it!!!
The bad part was,we dont have hot water but its ok that doesnt bother me bc the loft was amazing. :)

A very nice and well located loft, perfect for a single couple, or with two children. The check / in / out is very easy, they sent us the access codes before our arrival, as soon as they processed the payment. We receive complimentary cleaning during the stay. The place is very nice, clean and with excellent pool and beach. The children really enjoyed.

The appartment is situated very coveniently close to the beach, the restaurant, the minimarked and the gym. This is a very good location.
1. The kitchen was awfull. Very little pots, pans, broken utensils - not even the combined bottleopener/wineopener worked. The wineopener was broken and bottleopener slipped on the bootles. No hot water in the kitchen made it quite impossible to keep hygiene to a reasonable level and it is impossible to run the water on more than the lowest level to prevent it from splashing out of the sink - the worst kitchen ever in 25 years of renting everything from flats, holiday homes and campers. Really poor.
2. On booking.Com it said in the headline that the appartement had seaview - i does not, so do not believe this.
3. The only key to the appartment is in a key box. The key box has a code. We arrived as planned tuesday night and even as I had specifically asked for it, it did not arrive in my mailbox before wednesday. We only got into the appartment because the cleaning had not closed the key box properly.
4. It says on booking. com that there is free Wi-Fi All over the property. Reality is that it costs 5$ a day. We figured out with the help from some staff to obtain free Wi-Fi in the room, but not a Word from the owner re this.
5. It also says that there is a free gym. But that required an admittance card to get in . We had to contact the owner to receive this.
