The house was large enough to accommodate 12 people ranging in age from 2.5 -76 years. There was a huge kitchen table, two lounge areas and three showers. The fire kept it warm and cozy, the board games and ping table provided entertainment. It was well located to take small kids to the playground or beach and an easy walk to town for those with slightly longer legs. In warmer weather the outdoor table would also be great.

This property was perfect for a weekend with grand parents, parents and young adult grand children. Well equipped kitchen, great outdoor spaces and the table tennis got good use. Handy location walkable to beach and shops. We'll be back!

Easy walk to beach with surf boards, fab location near shops, river too. Great house - not super fancy but has everything you need - big dining table, awesome outdoor area, separate kids bunk room. Well stocked kitchen. Fire place was lovely

Lovely house, everything you need- if any negatives beds a bit soft - but that’s a matter of preference.

Convenient location. Good house for a large group Could have provided more than one roll of toilet paper for the weekend, and provided some tea towels or be clear about what linen is required to bring.

The place is large with lots of beds. It ain't the ritz but we didn't need that.

Great place for a big family

Booked in April and then everyone was sick with flu and covid! So I went on my girls weekend with my husband and boys! It actually couldn’t have worked out better! The boys were entertained with the table tennis table and “lived upstairs” for the weekend. Husband and I got to catch up, have a drink and listen to music. Highly recommend for family and friends. Fabulous wood fire for winter and decking for the warmer months. Thank you we will be staying with you again, maybe next time with my girlfriends !?
