This place is an older condo style but it’s exactly what we wanted. It’s access to the beach is quick and the balcony view was incredible. We will definitely be back next year.

We were mostly very pleased with everything: clean, well-furnished, roomy unit; family-oriented climate; cold A/C; great location & view; the long twin beds were extremely comfortable, with supportive mattresses; good water pressure. This is an older facility, in need of some minor TLC, but the great location, homey feel, and large, uncrowded pool negate the negatives: the elevators are old and extremely slow, which wouldn't be so bad if they were air-conditioned; the pool water was clean and well-maintained, but the bottom was stained, in need of a good pressure cleaning; the sliding door in our unit wouldn't lock, but with it being on the top floor, it wasn't a problem; Cleanliness is my pet peeve, and there were only two issues with our unit: the bed spreads, especially on the twin beds, were very soiled. I was thankful for the washer and dryer and laundered one of them myself. The only other issue I noticed was stained carpet in the twin room... one brown, prominent stain in the middle of the room. Overall, though, we had a great time, and this was a wonderful home away from home!

Reviewer Comments: Bender knew the unit was to be remodeled after our stay yet rented it to us anyway. We were not informed of such until checking in prior to office closing. Main door wouldn't fully open, electrical issues(arcing when plugging computer into outlet; kitchen ceiling lights working intermittently), unit had not been cleaned, tools left in living room, wallpaper peeling off walls and kitchen appliances badly stained. Complained to Bender the following morning who moved us. So after unpacking, we repacked to unpack at 2nd location the following day; lost a whole day of vacation. I've used Bender several times over the years and was very satisfied with them however, I was misled this time, will no longer trust them nor use them again in the future

Everything went as described for check in and check out. We got there several hours early and they say you can go to the pool, but there's no place to change and we didn't want to get stuck in wet swimsuits so we walked across the street to the ice cream shop to wait for the place to be ready. I think it's been a rental for over 20 years and most of the linens and furniture look like they are from the 90s, but they were functional and clean and I wouldn't want to move stuff in or out of a 6th story condo so they were fine with me. The only struggles we had were the bubbled paint in the master bedroom like there's an underlying condition in the wall, the bedroom ceiling fan has no way to turn off the light but leave the fan on, the light under the microwave for the stove didn't turn on, and there were places in the bathrooms that looked like a towel bar used to hang but had come down. The things that went well were: I was able to find extra blankets in a linen closet, all the appliances I used worked fine (fridge, stove, oven, washer/ dryer, toaster, dish washer). It was very nice to have a kitchen so we could make our own food or reheat left over food and not go out for every meal! I did want to mention that I wasn't sure what "well stocked kitchen" meant and I'll let you know it's all the pots, pans, mixing bowls, serving trays, but not cooking oil or spices. The view from the patio is great and the patio has plenty of furniture. Overall, I hope the owners fix the few things that need attention but I was happy with our trip and stay. If you stay here look for the guest book and sign it. There's 20 years of guests and that's pretty interesting!

Lastly, when the air conditioner would turn on their was an unpleasant smell that would come out of the vents, and many of the air vents would drip with moisture, which seems like a huge issue to keep the condo in top shape. Long story short, buyer beware. We will not be returning to this condo.

I am giving this property such a low rating because it is obvious that the owners do not feel it is important to manage the care and upkeep of the condo. It is beyond outdated in decor and furnishings. I would guess that the owners furnished the space with cast offs from motels that closed. But more importantly, the space itself needs serious attention. Multiple ceiling and bathroom lights with missing or non functional bulbs. Cracks in the paint and paint falling off the walls. The fixtures in the shower leaked and water was hitting the wall. All the pans I pulled from the cabinets had NOT been washed and one pan was found, with burned food still remaining, in the oven. For the daily cost of this rental, I did not expect the furnishings to be any different than shown in the photographs. HOWEVER, for the cost of this rental, the property should have been clean and functional and it was NOT. If you can find a property in the same price range, I would chose it before this property. You will NOT get what you pay for with this rental.

Property was outdated, for what we paid for it was a horrible experience. We had to take everything and then had all these rules and fees. There was suspected Black Mold in the Condo almost upon entering the property I became sick.
